I am in love with these food colors! They don't water down my icing, they don't taste funky, and the colors are vibrant and beautiful! I bought these so I could sample the Americolor brand at the recommendation of a food blogger and I am not disappointed. Once I get the money, I'm going to be buying the large set of Americolor 41 4-oz size bottles that I found recently on Amazon.

I never knew what I was missing until I got these gorgeous food colors. Now, as an avid baker, I was familiar with paste colors and knew them to be superior to the regular liquid stuff you get at the grocer. I didn't realize, however, what a difference brandname made. These are truly superior in quality and you don't need near as much to get the desired color--which eliminates that bitter flavor you get when adding too much dark coloring to icing.
I highly recommend these colors...you won't be disappointed.

I love baking and decorating cakes and cupcakes, so I've used quite a few different types and brands of food coloring. I was looking for a specific color blue to make NY Yankees cookies for a wedding earlier this year, and was able to find the color I needed from Americolor. Oh my goodness, what a huge difference! They gel is nice and thick and the colors are vibrant, so you have to use less color than other brands. The colors are very vibrant and, most importantly, tasteless. Try this brand-you won't be disappointed.

Love this set but you can find it cheaper elsewhere. Colors are vibrant & true. Only prob company sent me airbrush colors by mistake. They corrected it immediately. Great customer service!

I purchased two sets of Americolor gels, and a set of Americolor Airbrush colors. Pleased with purchase. Arrived quickly, no problems. Gels colors look good, but can't comment on the aribrush colors yet. Haven't used them, but arrived safely, no spills. Everything intact. Would pruchase from again. Thanks.

The only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I don't understand why the Kit #2 would contain some of the same colors as the kit #1. It seems strange to me.
Nonetheless, I did purchase both because it seemed like the easiest way to figure out the most commonly used colors and the colors I'd want to purchase in the future.
I have to say, I've run out of some of my Americolor and purchased other brands... and they're just not as good. I highly recommend Americolor and this student kit is fantastic.

Great!
I bake a lot of cakes from scratch and over the years I've learned that Wilton's dark colors change the flavor of your icings. These do not and the colors are brilliant.

Best colors
Americolor is staple for all my icing coloring. There isn't that bitter taste that most food dyes have. This is a staple in my baking pantry.
