5.0 out of 5 stars Consistent User Interfaces, April 30, 2005

This review is from: AMIGA User Interface Style Guide (Paperback)
I have had this book since it was printed and oddly, even though it has aged almost 15 years, the idea (or perhaps ideals) remain sound. Commodore-Amiga did some excellent things while they were around and this is one of those things. Striving to help you stick to simplicity and intuitiveness of your interface works just as well now as it did then. When I get stuck on where to make this type of choice available or when should a menu item be greyed out I leaf through the book and usually find my way again. Much of the information is not directly useful anymore since it was written with the Amiga OS in mind but it does apply.
