After spending 10 years building models on my own I wanted to introduce my 14 year old son to the hobby. This was a simple stater kit, so I thought. The instructions are two overly simplified pages. Not a step by step but an exploded view (dotted lines that lead to parts that lead to dotted lines and more parts). There is NOT ONE example of the completed model ANYWHERE! The artwork on the cover does not help. I tried to keep him on track but after sitting down and trying to help him through I made the determination that this was a complete waste of tome. Shame on you ERTL for churning out this junk. I fell in love with Tamiya for their near zealotry for detailed kits and instruction and that is exactly what my son will be building next.
