My 11-year-old LOVED this gift. He's always loved Star Wars and has built numerous LEGO models from the series. We have an over-abundance of LEGOS, however, and were looking for some other building project he could do. This fit the bill perfectly and he was comfortable with the process because he has worked on model planes over the last two years. It does NOT come with paint but does come with a guide to tell you which colors to get and where to paint them. You also need to get your own model glue.

This has to be the best model of all of the starwars vechiles, so much fun to put together.with over 500 parts and instructuons from putting together to painting specs its days of fun!!!
