I really enjoy this series of books. The author knows a lot about using AAS safely. His dosing is very mild and on the safer side of things. The information in the steroid profiles is second to none but a lot of this can be found on the internet. I use this as a reference guide because I am a moderator on some bodybuilding forums. There are always a lot of questions about AAS and this book is great to refer to for answers. I read it from cover to cover and really enjoyed it all the way through but Many times I felt like I was reading the last edition over again. I am an avid fan and reader so I still enjoyed this book thoroughly and will buy the next edition again. It does have updated pictures in the back and is slightly revised but let's be honest there isn't much new information coming out about steroids. Most of the studies done on steroids took place in the 60s and 70s. I would like to see a book come out about Peptides and there new uses. Overall this was as expected for me. It was as good as the last one with slightly new updates.

As someone who has not only purchased five different editions of this book over the years, starting with the 2000 one, I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone in search of a comprehensive, one source, go to manual. It is indeed the reference standard!
The author, William Llewllyn, carries on a tradition started by my friend Dan Duchaine (R.I.P.), of providing cutting edge, factual information on a subject shrouded in myth and rampant with misconception. This book is indeed the true "bible" (sorry B.P.) on the subject. It far and away exceeds the scope and clarity of any of it's competitors. In fact, it has no competition.
If your goal is to have all the facts, close at hand, in one convenient source, then this book is a necessity!
Save yourself years of guesswork and get this book right now. It's worth five times the asking price.

Great book! Somewhat too detailed but I'd rather too much than not enough. All information is referenced! Great cycle recommendations even for PCT and off cycle therapy. If you're new to this stuff best book to get a hold of before starting!

Awesome book. This is a must have if you are going to order any supplements or want to get into using steroids. It explains in detailed list fake steroids or real one's and has a detailed photo listing of all of what was just explained. Let me put it to you this way, this is a book that has a lot of information and it is very very detailed.

The only other book ive read on the subject was Anabolic Review by Bill Phillips.
That book was easy to read and understand, and provided good information,
However!
Anabolics 10th edition is much more detailed. It has much more information.
It costs more, but its worth it in my opinion. I would not recommend it for
someone with a low IQ! It can be overwhelming!

This is good book to understand the chemical properties of the products and good book to see what products are out there and that is how learned everything in the beginning but when it comes to cycle and using them there is a better info available and i would not use the info which is in this book.
