The book was in excellent condition, the cover and the inside. It also came with the original pamphlet.

You can read reviews of this text in other places, and it is indeed a classic. It is easily readable, even for "amateur" students (ie, the lay reader). True, the 7th ed. is an improvement, but are you going to spend all that money for a relatively small difference? For us, it made the difference in purchasing this book vs. not buying it at all. There are reviews, summaries, examples of clinincal situations, and "medical language" for which this book is indicated, both the distal and proximal side (ha ha).

Next: We ordered this on Nov.21, and even though the earliest delivery estimate was Dec. 22, the book arrived on Dec. 1 !!!! And this was an INTERNATIONAL ORDER (way over to Israel). We are extremely pleased (a bit surprised, but we'll take it), and would recommend this seller to anyone. The was indeed in good condition, with a few minor notes from previous user(s), but it was described like that.

I bought this book for a class I will be taking in the military this fall. I have learned so much just by skimming through it. I cannot wait to begin class.
