Appeal to city staff a way

to bypass court visit

Parking tickets are not really synonymous with smiles. For a handful of people taking advantage of a new city program, however, visiting the city Parking Division staff in person could mean avoiding a trip to Municipal Court this week.

Allison Barnett grinned as she walked away from her meeting Wednesday with city parking enforcement supervisor Phillip Chavez.
