Our roof is fairly steep; almost a 45 degree slope. We got several of these roof anchors and installed them at the peak and were able to put a metal roof on our house quite safely wearing safety harnesses. I doubt we could have done the work otherwise.
These anchors are very well made out of durable rust proof materials, come with clear well written instructions, and are far cheaper than a trip to the hospital or the mortuary. I highly recommend them.

I was doing an antenna installation (and also do occasional adjustments) on a friends house which has a steep pitch and has cedar shingles.. not a fun combination! Picked this up to allow me to tie down to the roof, and let me work safely.. it did the trick! The product was a lot larger than I expected (not a bad thing!), and feels like it was built to last; no hesitation purchasing it again for a similar situation on another roof!
