I have probably used hundreds of these ear plugs over the years both in the military (working on aircraft) and in civilian life (woodworking) and haven't found a better earplug. Sure they can be a little hard and stiff, especially when cold, but once they are warmed and expand in the ear canal they work great. I have tried other types of ear plugs over the years and non seem to be as affective as these.

If I didn't have good earplugs I'd be divorced! My husband snores and could wake the dead. These ear plugs save me and the turnaround time from ordering to receiving was quick!

These plugs are GREAT. I saw the picture and was hoping they were like the standard foam ones I was used to. I read other reviewers reviews and suspect that they do not use the same technique I do to insert these into my ear. I roll the plug down between my fingers so it gets very squished, them quickly jam them into my ear. Then they slowly reflate forming a great very sound-proof barrier. And they don't come out but can be easily taken out (if you don't push them in too deep!) These are my favorite types of ear plugs and I've tried a variety of ear plugs. I use them when sleeping and also at times like in a noisy airport or on a plane flight.

Last year my husband bought me a box of 200 for my birthday. I love them. This year I'm buying 2 boxes of 200 for myself. I wear these at night to help me sleep, during the day to blunt the sounds around me, and especially at the movies where everything is so loud these days. Not all sound is muffled out. I still hear lot of things and can carry on a conversation if I'm paying attention, but it makes enough difference to make previously intolerable things much more tolerable. If they don't seem to work at first, I suggest trying to insert them different ways. Some work better than others. I suggest them for anyone who seems to be extra-sensitive to sounds.

I have researched many types of earplugs, and I find that these earplugs work the best to block out sound.

My intent was to use these earplugs to block out the neighbors' loud music on weekends. However, the first time I tried these, I barely noticed a difference with the earplugs in or out. I feel like this purchase was a waste of my money...

I just got a whole box of the ear plugs. Tried a pair on, an it is a piece of garbage. The texture of the ear plug is hard and hurts the
ear.

I rate this a zero, since the whole box of ear plugs are going in
to the dump right away. Worst set of ear plugs that I have ever tried, and would definitely stay away from these.
