In addition to connecting your HD DVD player and digital set-top box through the HDMI inputs, you can also use your TV as a computer monitor with the Dsub jack. The L26W661 also includes 2 composite inputs and 2 component inputs for additional digital signals and, 2 S-video inputs. 3D combfilter ensures you get the best digital resolution. By layering several versions of the image on top of each other the combfilter makes sure you don't miss a thing. Plus, a super-fast 8-ms response time displays quick-moving scenes without distortion. And the 3:2 pulldown picture enhancement smoothes out pictures by correcting frame-rate errors. Excellent sound quality with two 5-watt integrated speakers. Virtual surround sound technology as well as bass, treble and balance controls will make for an outstanding home theater experience. More reception options with ATSC, Clear-QAM and NTSC tuners. Although most digital programing from cable is scrambled, the remaining unscrambled channels (where available) can be viewed with the Clear-QAM tuner without a cable box. ATSC receives digital signals over-the air and NTSC receives traditional over-the-air analog signals. Includes parental controls, closed captioning, auto power off, sleep timer and more. I bought this TV about 2 1/2 years ago (not from Amazon). Altho I would have liked a 32 inch my entertainment unit cannot hold anything wider than 30 inches and I could not find an affordable 27"-29" TV at the time. As I live in an apartment I don't need anything bigger. I knew Envision has had a good reputation for computer monitors so I decided to chance it and it was a great bargain at the time. I use an indoor antenna and get only over-the-air channels but get more than 3 times as many as I did with my old CRT television; the reception is excellent for all of them. The pictures come in bright and very clear and the colors are realistic. I gave only 4 stars for sound quality as some channels come in more faintly than others but that may be the fault of the stations. I have only one negative criticism, there is an appreciable delay when changing channels but that is a small thing in comparison with everything else about this TV. The change over is almost instantaneous when I use the Prev Ch button. It was easy to set up and sits well on its stand. The unit is not very heavy and can be easily moved. I would recommend this TV to anyone who is interested.

Obviously not a high-end unit, but it works good and has a decent picture. Great little TV for the bedroom.
