I had not heard of them but have been VERY impressed with the quality of the image their displays produce. The two I know personally is this one and a 19" Widescreen. Both monitors give the best Viewsonics a run for their money. The 19" widescreen actually looked better than the 20" Viewsonic widescreen.
As for this monitor in particular. It is top-notch. The colors are VERY bright and crisp, way better than the Sony's I've seen. I have not tried the speakers, I don't need them. The pivot is really cool! I don't have their software to enable it, but my ATI Catalyst drivers do it anyway. I have it currently set up next to a 1600x1200 f96 19" Sylvania CRT, and I never knew how dingy the colors the CRT produced were. It rally is striking. All in all, AOC makes quality stuff, and this is one of the best. (oh, and I sell LCD at my job so I've seen a few) |
