3M's photochromatic safety lens is very well done. This glass changes darkens fairly quickly. My complaint would lie in the products ability to return to clear. This process takes considerably longer than the darkening process and I can definitely see where that could be of concern for some users. However, if you don't go straight to work on a bandsaw within a minute or two of coming inside, this is a very nice glass. As should be expected for a safety glass of this price, the materials used feel like and look like quality products. One of the great benefits I see for this safety glass is the ability to 'form' or bend the earpieces at about the last 1/3 of the length to hook the ears. When looking down during a task, this is of great benefit.

Another user had experience fogging problems which I can say did not happen to me. That situation may have been due to the fit of the product on that persons face and the proximity of the lens to the cheek rather than some flaw in the safety glass.

Good fit. Quality construction. Great case. They do just what you expect - darken in sunlight, clear out of sunlight. I will be buying more of these in the future.

Nice glasses good fit but I have yet to see them as dark as in the pictures but they help out greatly in the sun.

These are a little pricey but considering they have transitional lenses which make them darken and lighten for when your out in the sun or inside or in a low light area. Also these are some of the most comfortable safety glasses i have worn.

These glasses fit better than any of my other pairs but they just don't get dark enough for bright days. The lense quality is real good and looks good on my face. This is the best pair of safety glasses I have ever bought, but if your lookin for a replacement for sunglasses this isn't it.

I was looking for a pair of glasses to wear while riding my motorcycle and bought these on the recommendation of a friend. My requirements were for a pair of glasses that would; a) Fit comfortably under my helmet, b) Not distort vision when viewed through either my windshield or helmet faceshield (Polaroids go psychedelic), and c) transition from light to dark.

These glasses meet all of my needs...almost. They do not quite get dark enough to be comfortable on really bright days. The result being that I'll have to carry a pair of my Oakleys for bright sun.

Great product. Nice solid transition safety glasses that dont feel or look flimsey, way cool.

I have not been able to use these glasses for more than 10 minutes at a time before they fog up (in any season of the year). They are very difficult to clean as well. I would not recommend these glasses unless you need safety glasses to do something sedentary (sewing). They are more dangerous than not wearing any protection at all since it is much easier to cut ones finger off if you cant see it.
