I have been using AOSEPT for over 20 years and it is an excellent product. I usually throw the free Clearcare away, because it's horrible and I can't use it. I wish the company would help the environment by eliminating the free Clear care samples. AOSEOPT is what we want, not Clearcare.

great for soft contacts...i have been wearing contacts for 15 years and just started using this 2 years ago. my lenses do tend to have alot of protein and this product keeps everything healthy and clear!!!! so glad i changed. make sure you store them as directed like 4 hours or more (or you will experience a pain no one could ever prepare you for)...and always store them in the vertical lens case. things should go great...as i said, im so glad i changed, saves me alot of time!

I'd like to add some positive comments here and note that I've been using this Aosept Cleaning solution with the little container and disc for my contact lenese cleaning since 1988.

In my area, Wal-Mart often runs out of this Aosept cleaner, therefore, I'll buy 1.5 years worth of solution at a time since a few years ago, there was a severe production shortage of Aosept which means that it was impossible to buy it in the retail stores. I still use Miraflow as my Daily Cleaner to keep my contact lenses like new. My eye doctor comments that he notices my lenses are much cleaner than many other people using the newer cleaning systems. My contact lenses are meant to only be used for three months and then thrown away. Indeed, I follow this 3-month plan. About three years ago, I figured out that using Alcon Replenish as a rinser before putting the disinfected lense (after 6 hours of rinsing in Aosept and container with Disc) back in my eye, my contact lenses stay fresher longer during the day.

The marketing of this product is horribly deceptive. It says Aosept but it is in a clear care package with a photo of a Clear Care bottle on the packaging. When I opened it up there was a huge Aosept bottle with a small travel Clear Care bottle. While I had a horrible reaction to Aosept 20 years ago, I was under the assumption that Aosept and Clearcare were the same product because they were being marketed together and thought the reaction I had before would not happen now since I have used Clear Care for many years. Well, I opened up the Aosept bottle first because it was the largest and used it and got a nasty eye infection which forced me into my glasses for God knows how long now and I cannot wear my contact lenses anymore. I think this was a really sleazy trick for the makers of Aosept to dump a product that they are trying to phase out by selling it in a Clear Care Box with a Clear Care bottle. My eye doctor told me that they are not the same product, that Aosept has one ingredient that is different than Clear Care and that one ingredient is the one that I had the reaction to. Don't buy this horrible product, it cost me 5 trips to the Opthomologist already, it is deceptive and wrong.
