We ordered 2 of these APC batteries. We received 1 APC, and another one from a company called "ABC" that looks like a cheap knock-off.

I couldn't believe Amazon was shipping a knockoff after we purchased the original. So I requested a replacement. They apologized and sent one out.

We received it, and guess what, it's another ABC battery! I complained again, and this time the guy admits if he orders another replacement, it'll probably happen again, so he's just going to give us a refund!

WTF, why doesn't someone at Amazon ask themselves why they are shipping knock-off products as real products? If I was APC, I would be pissed.

Battery worked great, lasted longer than promised, and it came with a recycle shipping label to properly dispose of the old battery. Easy to change.

The battery worked great. Even came with a return shipping label to return in same box. Awesome service.

This item is listed as an original equipment battery from the manufacturer. It is actually a cheap aftermarket knock off. For the price I paid, I should have received the original equipment, not this junky battery.

This product is working great so far. No problems, but do keep the wires from the original battery because I was unable to get the new battery into the UPS casing with the wires that it came with. I just swapped with the old wires.

I purchased this battery, based upon the description and photographs, depicting an APC RBC5 battery. What I received was an equivalent battery by ABC (American Battery Company), whoever that is. I liked the price and the delivery. It fit, and is working just fine so far. I would have given 5 stars, but I cannot, because the product was misrepresented in the ad. Had this product been a very important purchase for me, I would have returned it.

The replacement worked fine and the annoying beeping stopped but it is way overpriced. Why does the battery cost almost as much as I paid for the UPS?

The warnings and other instructions were not quite clear or well presented enough that I was not able to give myself a little zap while reinstalling this battery into the UPS.

May this be my warning to anyone else out there who does not want a fairly harmless electrical grounding: study the ponderously overwritten instructions included with this unit better than I did! O, the huge-manatee.

Purchased this battery when my UPS refused to function due to battery light/alarm. Put in the new battery, let it charge for 24 hours and put the UPS back in use. It lasted about 6 weeks! Now the UPS is worthless again. Don't know if it is the battery, or the UPS itself. Just letting everyone know it is probably better to just buy a new UPS than to replace the battery. The replacement battery is about half the price of a new UPS. The original UPS battery lasted about 18 months. I guess I'll learn to live without a UPS as this 18 month cycle is ludicrous...
