What can I say? Don't accept substitutes! It was very easy to hot swap the old battery out without having to turn anything off. Inserted my old battery into the shipping box with pre-printed label and shipped it out.

It's been a month or so and it's been great!

Whatelse can I say? I was able to swap it out while the UPS guy waited so I could return the worn out battery. No need to turn anything off.

I bought some batteries for my UPS off eBay and they didn't last a whole year. I will buy only APC batteries and Amazon has the best price.

Vendor sent off-brand product instead of branded product shown - but did make full refund after I complained and made product return easy.

This was not an APC battery. It was a generic substitute. Fit OK. Will watch for performance to check for life.

Much easier to install than I expected and works just fine. Saved a bundle compared to buying a new UPS.

Purchased from Amazon as I was wary of some other suppliers who may not have been supplying the genuine APC item in light of some reviews and I knew it would be easy to replace if it wasn't exactly as described.

Anyhow it is the genuine APC article and works just fine

If you are looking for an APC branded replacement battery, be careful which seller you buy from. At least one seller is actually selling their own brand instead of the APC brand. It may be of equal or better quality, but it has a shorter warranty period and does not provide any of the other benefits of getting the APC branded battery.

It has been a month and I have not received a replacement yet. the item was defective and I'm still waiting for a replacement.
