Product Description

Size: 1.25-Ounce

Purpose and benefits: PondCare Accu-Clear is a colorless liquid that rapidly eliminates cloudy water in koi ponds and water gardens. Newly constructed ponds may develop cloudy water during the first few weeks, especially in warm, sunny conditions. Established ponds can also experience cloudy water any time. Cloudy, discolored water may form while changing the filter, working with aquatic plants or when making a water change. In all these instances, Accu-Clear quickly restores pond water to a crystal clear condition. Accu-Clear causes tiny, suspended cloud-forming particles to clump together into larger clumps called flocs. Once clumped together these flocculated particles are easier to trap in the pond filter than the tiny particles, thereby aiding the filter system in keeping the water clear. If the pond does not have a filtration system, the flocs will settle to the bottom of the pond or become trapped in the pump prefilter. As the water clears, the particles will accumulate in the filter and it will be necessary to rinse the prefilter and filter pads/foams more often when using Accu-Clear to regain crystal clear water.

I've been using Api for my tanks for well over 17 years and i would never change their products for any other brand in the world. That said the Api Accu-Clear should become a staple in any aquarium/fish tank cabinet because you will never find anything that will work better than this.

First off for reviewers that complain about the Api Accu-Clear READ the instructions and be PATIENT.

Accu-Clear on average depending on how cloudy your water is, the chemicals/products you have used in the water, the fish, the set-up, the quality of water in your area, the size of your tank, the type of filter you are using,+++ in my experience for a 6 gallon tank for example you will see the water change within 30 minutes and its not a "good" change, it becomes even cloudier and for the first 12h it pretty much stays like that. I know you are going to worry about your fish DON'T they are fine. I know you are going to want to add more chemicals, etc. DON'T just wait everything will be fine. And most importantly i know you are going to want to do a water change be it 25% or 50% or the whole thing DO NOT do that either just be PATIENT and wait!! After about 15h or so you should start seeing your tanks water clear up but you will not see results until at least 24-36h again depending on everything i mention above.

I have tried multiple times throughout the years to use other brands but without exception each and every one of them have failed miserably simply put they just won't work!

I trust Api products with my eyes closed, i would highly recommend them to everyone and i definitely will be buying them for as long as i own tanks.

this stuff is great had been struggling with cloudy water for several months with a 125 gallon aquarium
very well filtered, not wanting to use chemicals I have been doing daily partial water changes. my Mayan cichlid has been laying eggs due to the clean water and high temps, however stubborn cloudy water would not improve.
so I broke down and tried this product. added recommended dosage even a little less, within 3 hrs my tank was clear as the day I first set it up. this product worked very well for me. highly recommend.

I bought this initially to help clear up the cloudiness I encountered when putting sand in my 90 gallon aquarium. Put in a capful, the next morning, my water was crystal clear!

I've been using this product for about a year now. Every time I siphon the gravel in my tanks, a lot of detritus and waste gets kicked up into the water. Using this is pretty entertaining and functional - when you put it in, it looks like a fog rolling through your tank. It's kinda surreal. After an hour or two (depending on how many gallons per hour your filter processes), it clears right up.

Note that this will NOT work on an unfiltered tank. This product functions by making the particles in the tank large and heavy enough to be picked up by the filter. Also, be very careful when measuring this out - I don't know for sure if it's related, but every time I use this product and then test my water, my pH comes back a teensy bit high. Using too much may cause problems for pH-sensitive fish.

This clears up the water a good bit. I used it a few times on my cichlid tank. I haven't had to use it again.

This is the best product for keeping my aquarium sparkling. I happened on it by accident at a supply place once and had not been able to find it again around here. So I searched the web and found it. I will order it again and again, as long as I have a fish tank and the internet. Within minutes my tank looks like a brand new tank and my fish handle it well. Thank you for this opportunity to express my opinion. Keep on doing what your doing.

I bought a 8oz bottle from Petco after seeing this on amazon and reading the reviews, i wanted it right away and it was on sale for $7 similar to amazon's price

I have a 50 gallon tank and i used the amount as specified by the directions on the bottle and my cloudy tank started to clear up within 2-3 hours! It says it takes 24 hours to full clear but i can already see the difference

My tank became cloudy after i cleaned and set up my tank again after it was sitting in my room empty for 2 years after my fish died and putting in the necessary chemicals for maintenance, bacteria replacement, and water treatment the water because a little cloudy without any fish. So after waiting 24 hours with fish inside it was still cloudy. So i bought this and its working great to clear up my tank. I think as some other review said it works by clumping particles together and filtering them out with the filter. I noticed when i checked the filter white particles were inside, so definitely a filter is needed for this to work.

I will update after 24 hours

Definitely worth the buy if you have a white, cloudy tank!
