So it won't give you perfect results, and don't expect it to. That being said, I can safely say that it can allow one to safely cycle the tank w/ fish in.
I do suggest dosing more then the product suggests though. I believe that by putting in a full dose every other day this kept ammonia and nitrite levels low enough to not hard the fish. Without a dosage so frequently I would expect ammonia/nitrite levels to spike.
I have used it since came out, took to much water out, fish started stressing, found this and 24 hours they were back to normal...Love it!!!
