Belinda Swanson and her two best friends are driving home from a forbidden April Fool's Day party when Belinda's friend, Frank, decides to "play a little joke." He chases after a car on a narrow road, and they're sure they've caused an accident when they find the car crashed in an embankment. Belinda is the only one who's desperate to help, but the others steer her away. To make matters worse, Belinda is sure she saw someone standing at the top of the hill, watching them! Soon after, sickening pranks begin, and Belinda can't help but fear for her life!

I thought that "April Fools" was an awesome story by Richie Tankersley Cusick, as usual! Richie's birthday is April 1st, believe it or not, which added a unique element to the book. The storyline was nicely formatted, resembling "I Know What You Did Last Summer," yet a bit hard to get into. I still think it deserves four stars. Every book has at least one minor flaw! Still, it's ending was unexpected and shocking, which is a must for thrillers! Richie Tankersley Cusick is an awesome writer, and I feel that this is among her best, alongside "Someone at the Door" and "Starstruck." Happy reading!

On April Fools Day three teenagers are involved in a road rage incident which ends in a flaming wreck for the other car. I Know What You Did Last Summer style two of them convince the other one (Belinda) not to help save the victims but to flee the scene.

Two weeks later a guilt stricken Belinda receives a bloody dolls head. Previously she has volunteered to tutor the son of a family who she later suspects are the victims. Scared she contemplates confessing as more gruesome pranks occur. She doesn't know who is messing with her mind. Is it her friends, the family or someone else? She also doesn't know if she is in danger.

This is a good short book. You won't be able to put it down although it doesn't take long to read.

In the book "April Fools," by Richie Tankersley Cusick, three teenagers, Belinda, Frank, and Hildy, were involved in a deadly car accident on April 1st including three other people. These kids were so frightened they didn't even want to wait for the cops so they ran before anyone else could witness what happened. A few days after the accident, they found out that two of the passengers did not survive that accident and only one did with serious injuries. They felt really sorry for the other passengers, but they were too afraid to admit what happened, even though what happened really wasn't their fault. Then a few months later, the teens have tried new things to get that accident out of their minds. Belinda started a tutoring job to help kids with their studies that weren't able to get to school for a legitimate reason. Only one kid needed her help and his name was Adam. He was in a car accident a few months ago and was bruised up over his body and had a few broken bones. She felt really comfortable around him and his family and has also met a handsome guy, which who was Adam's brother, named Noel. Later after she met Adam, Belinda has received in her mail a bloody doll's head and someone has even attempted to run her over with their car. Belinda has been real traumatized after all this and had been freaking out thinking that Adam has done it all by himself because everything always seemed to lead to him; he has even been really suspicious around the house whenever Belinda was present. She tried her best just to help him with all he needs and has been on him since then, but Noel really doesn't think it was him. It is obvious someone has witnessed the car accident and they are paying her back for what she did. Is it really Adam that has been behind all the pranks or was it someone else that witnessed it with them? Whoever it is, they really want her to pay for what she did. The pranks are still happening to her even as April Fools' Day has already passed.

This is a very good book. I have enjoyed reading it and I do recommend this to anyone that likes books that has them thinking the whole way through. Every chapter has something new happening and it is just very hard to put the book down. I rated this book five stars because it is sort of a suspenseful book that has your mind working through the whole thing. Hope you enjoy it!

Cusick is an excellent author I have only read 3 of her books and I really want to read more.I like them because they are scary and others aren't really scary at all.I have read April Fools, Lifeguard and Trick or treat. I definatly give it 5 stars.

This was a great book! I must admitt I enjoyed some others more like...Vampire, Lifegaurd(justine =(!), Silent Stalker, and Fatal Secrets^^sugio! anyways...this isn't a summary..more of...what if..or HOW it should have ended in my opinion...hence the title. SPOILERS! cover your eyes! Okay, Does ANYone think that Belinda and Adam could have been a couple? I mean it..really! think about it. I LOVE mysterious guys and not murderous or anything ^^ but I dont know..not all lovy and all well..kinda..Noel. Trust me, I liked him! but I think if Belinda got through to Adam...like he fell for her because of her kindness and firey aditude..well don't you think its romantic? Like..they fight..but fall for eachother..or somethin..and the way they described him in the picture*melts* it's ironic because I like blonds myself yet in books I always fall for my oposite. Well..readers take a second look...cause I was looking forward to that the hole damn time! =P o well! enjoy! =*)

I have to say that this point Horror is definately a must read if you are into Point Horror!! My friend got me into Horror point and after I found this book in the libary I just couldn't put it down and actually bought the book becuas I enjoyed it so much!!

Frank, Belinda and Hildy after coming back from a forbidden April Fools party witnesses and causes an Car Accident by accident by playing a practical joke. However noone was supposed to survive in Crash but Belinda witnesses a man but the others reassures her by saying it was a figment of her imgination and decides not to tell anyone. Two weeks after the accident Belinda still feels guilty while the others have moved on and insists that she do the same. Soon Belinda receives a tutoring job from a Rich Thorne family for tutoring their neglected son Adam. Belinda soon realises that the Rich Thorne Family was also involved in a car accident Two weeks ago, which naturally makes her feel anxious but Belinda soon realises that is the least of her worries when pranks start occuring and someone must have witnessed or survived the crash. And they're going to make Belinda suffer for what happened! April Fools day is over but the jokes are for real and Belinda can hardly trust anyone!

The books also contains Romance when Adam's step brother Noel comes and helps Belinda to handle Adam or not! This books will make you turning each page and keep you at edge of your seat and wanting more. The ending is also quite satisfying and really not what expect. You also discover that you can hardly trust anyone and what money does people!

I have read almost all of Richie's books and compared to her other books i have to give it a four. it was really exiteing and twisted. I really did like how she ended it. I Reccamend this book and all of Richies others

This is a must-read. This was my very first RTC book, and I don't think it can get much better than this. I love how the author mixed suspense with romance. The ending's a shocker. You won't be able to put this book down and that's a promise. Marie, thank you so much for lending me this book!

This book is a great book if you loved to be scared. although its a horror book it also has some romance between to of the characters. i thought it was a good romantic horror where the guy is really sweet and promises he wont let anything happen to belinda. i think you should read this book even if it sounds lame to you because you will not regret reading it!

This book was great. It would especially be great for people who like action adventure and mystery. It was also scary. There parts in the book that just wanted to make you read more! I couldn't stop reading the chapters, I had to keep going because it was so good.

It all started at a party that Frank, Belinda, and Hildy shouldn't have been at. They saw a car off the road but didn't help them. Then, the pranks started happening to Belinda. The accident was caused on purpose but knowbody knew that. Two kids caused it on purpose so they could get the money and wealth from the will. If you want to find out what happened, read the book.
