The title implies the book is about keeping DWARF clawed frogs. However, the book is actually much broader and covers several species of frogs. While this means I did not get exactly what I was hoping for (i.e. an entire book dedicated to the species of frog I raise, the dwarf clawed frog) I did find the rest of the book very interesting. The history of frog use for human pregnancy testing was particularly fascinating. This is the best book I have found for dwarf clawed frogs but please note the following issues: (1) the book was translated into English from German and could use some more proofreading to eliminate the numerous typographical and spelling errors, and (2) this book was intended primarily for a European audience and many of the species discussed may not be readily available to hobbyists in the U.S.A. while some are even illegal to own in particular states (e.g. California).

This book is the most informative I have found on Dwarf Clawed Frogs. I really enjoyed reading it, it was appealing visually with all the pictures and the writing was very easy to comprehend. I definitely recommend it to anyone who has African Dwarf Clawed Frogs.
