Great product, just what I was looking for! Since I don't have a work bench, this is a must-have for me to keep my personal work area at home clean and free of oils/solvents. Works just as i expected, and looks great doing it!

it does what it says, looks good on the bench, great for cleaning guns and not having to worry about scratching them on something, i ordered 2(a XD one as well), and very happy, came rolled up so when i layed it out there wasnt a big "fold" in middle, sits flush on bench, very good buy

What all the other positive review said is true. This is a nice large mat for cleaning your rifle. Diagrams are detailed and generally accurate. Reason I knocked it down one star is due to the material used for making this mat. For 20-something dollars, you would expect a durable and stain-proof material. The mat is essentially an oversized mouse pad as one of the other reviewers pointed out. If you plan on actually using this for its intended purpose, the mat will pick up solvent and oil stains quickly. Using scotchgard is a great idea but you have to reapply frequently as the solvent removes it.

Overall I am happy with my purchase, but it could have been better.

Product is great. Looks well made too. Should be a quality product from the feel of it. I can definitely think of several people that would love this item.

Great mat for cleaning any gun. Soft and padded like a mouse mad. Surface is easily wiped off with a rubber cusion back to protect surfaces you are working on as well as the gun you are cleaning. The fact it has diagrams and exploded views does not hurt the cool factor either. Beck Tek is a high class outfit so purchase with confidence! Thanks Shane!

This mat is fantastic. The surface of this mat doesn't allow lint or dirt to stick to it. Other mats I've had would allow dirt and even dog air to stick to it after it get enough gun oil on it. This mat wicks it right off.

Wouldn't you know it? I ordered this AND received one for a Christmas gift. Thankfully the seller has no objections on me returning it but I'm still waiting on the one I ordered to show up so I can return it.

The one I did receive as a late Christmas gift however is great. Really cool how it has the exploded view of all the parts and even a bit of the history of the gun. It seriously is exactly the same material of a mouse pad but just much larger. It smells horrible but I'm sure that will lessen once it's had more time to air out. I would highly recommend for anyone with an AR!

Both the one I ordered and the one I received both came from the seller "Beck Tek". While they ship for free, be aware that its USPS shipping and apparently takes forever to show up (been spoiled by Prime shipping I guess). I ordered it on 12/26/11 and it's now 1/4/12 and still hasn't shown up. Granted this could also be worse because of the high shipping volumes this time of year and observed holidays by the post office.

The mat is made from the same material as a computer mouse pad. I actually keep mine on my computer desk where i work on my gun, looks great there. This comes in handy when you have your parts mixed up and need to know exactly where they belong. I already know how to take apart my gun, i just thought it would look cool as hell on my desk, which is does! Oh and i got this in the mail in 2 1/2 days, very impressed on the shipping!

This is a really nice product to have to learn all the technical names for all parts of your rifle. It makes purchasing replacement components much easier, going into a gun store and being able to ask for specific parts by names that the armorer (should) be able to clearly understand, and avoid purchasing the wrong products due to miscommunication.

It's also nice working with all small/round parts, since the mat's soft surface limits the amount that the parts sometimes roll away from you. Makes keeping all your springs/screws together much easier.

Arrived as described and in good condition. Dimensions are approx 1 foot by 3 feet - perfect for carbine length rifles. Bought this mat with the intention of cleaning weapons on it, but it turns out that I am actually using this product as a desk mat at work and its perfect - combination keyset and mouse pad. Only thing that I can knock it on is that out of the packaging the mat has the classic rubber mouse pad smell to it - only lasted a week or so and its not really that big of a deal. Once it airs out (or gets soaked in bore solvent and oil) its fine. All said and done though, great product - use it to clean your rifle or add some stylish AR-15 themed padding to your work station! Well worth the $$$
