This is an excellent quality, all metal rail. Viewing down the sight channel is clear and unobstructed, enabling use of backup iron sights without trouble. Note that this rail will *not* fit removable carry handle AR's (e.g. A3-M4 carbines). For applications where the scope needs to be mounted on a removable carry handle, a rail that is certain to fit is Northeast Firearms NEA202. An NEA202 costs roughly three times what this rail does.

It is very exceptional for this price. Full metal and fits perfectly onto my M4's removable carring handle. I do recomend this to anyone that wants to put a scope on their gun but dosen't have the money/dosen't want to get an RIS system.

BTW You still can see down the regular iron sights if need be. Great buy!

I was comparing this product to a much much pricier alternative (think big brand name). Before I made the plunge for the pricier brand name, i figured I'd give this a shot. To my surprise... this product is almost exactly the same thing. Heavy duty, metal construction, perfect fit, and a great price.

The item description does not mention that it has see-through capabilities, so it was a pleasant surprise that I was able to mount and align my scope with my iron sights. Very solid and gets you close on remount. The zero is NOT exact on remounting (on my setup) but it is well within an inch, nothing that ONE test shot couldn't determine. Good enough for handload testing and for hunting.
All in all, exactly what I needed and ultimately what I wanted. This item should do well for anyone needing this sort of product.

An excellent short mount for today's compact scopes and red dot sights. Fits perfectly and works great with a variety of scopes and sights.

The weaver rail works, but picatinny mounts don't line up very well and the single thumb screw loosens easily just from rifle recoil. You can use this rail and still use the iron sights, which is nice to co witness with your scope.

The AR-15 scope mount is a high quality product. It fit perfectly in the carrrying handle of my AR and still allows the use of iron sites. I give it a five star rating.

It's exactly what I expected, although the one that came is a little different than the one in the picture, but not a big deal. The mount is 100% metal. I use it for my M4A1 (M4 carbine) airsoft gun and it fits perfectly on the removable carry handle. I ordered it on Thursday and it came today (Tuesday). Overall, very good quality, and fast shipping.

I am using this product on my 2009 D-boy Full Metal Airsoft M4. I am using it with an NcSTAR 40mm Red Dot sight.

The rail would not fully lineup with the mounting hole because the area near the rear sight is a bit narrower than the rest of the carry handle sight channel. It's only about 3/8 of an inch to long. No problem, there two things you can do:

1. You can (I did this initially) mount the rail as bar up the sight channel as possible (this is about 90% of the way up) and use 2 black cable ties (one in front and one in back) to secure the rail.

2. You can (I did this later) hack saw about 3/8 of an inch off only one side of the rail. It's made of Aluminum, so this will be very easy. Sand or file the edges smooth. Spray paint the whole thing flat black, and you are done. The mounding hole will line-up and you will be able to flip the rear sight to long and short range.

It looks awesome and works perfectly. It is very well made with a thick and sturdy rail which can hold any rail mounted sight you choose. Mounting the Red Dot high on top of the carry handle means you don't have to bring the Airsoft AEG up so high to line up for a shot. With all goggles or face mask, this really helps. You can still use the iron sights too.

I like it. It fits real good like and its easy to install. For the price I thought I cants go wrong. I aint tested it at the range yet but I aint worried.
