This is a great MP3 Player. I've loaded it up with hours of music plus hours and hours of old Bob and Ray recordings. The best feature is the recorder. I can plug the Archos into my stereo thru the tape monitor and record my old LPs and tapes without having to hook everything up to the computer.

This is a piece of junk. I got it to record my band sessions. I leave it charging all week, and actually plug it in during our sessions, and it only works half the time. Right now I have it plugged in, and I can't get it to turn on. It might just be my unit, but this thing is pretty worthless. I looked on the Archos site, and I don't think there's much I can do about it.

Even if it is just my defective unit, the interface is pretty clunky. I can't imagine trying to navigate 15 G's and find a specific song. You'd be there all day. However, if it just worked it would be perfect for what I want to do.
