Product Description

ARCTIC MX-4 High-Viscosity Thermal Compound has the distinctive characteristics of being non-capacitive, non-electricity-conductive, non-corrosive and non-bleeding. This makes ARCTIC MX-4 much safer and easier to use around sensitive and delicate applications involving electricity and heat than metal-based thermal compound. Perfectly safe for use around today's high-performance microprocessors (CPU) and graphic processors (GPU), accidental contacts with electrical pins/traces/leads will NOT cause short-circuits or static shocks compare to metal-based/capacitive thermal compounds. Under normal circumstances, carbon has the highest thermal conductivities of all know materials. ARCTIC MX-4's carbon micro-particles effectively and efficiently fill up microscopic pores and gaps between contact surfaces for optimum heat transfer. High thermal conductivity and low thermal resistance translate directly into efficient and quick heat dissipation. ARCTIC MX-4 is not only safe and easy to use; it also lasts a long time as well with its amazingly proven 8-year durability. ARCTIC MX-4 is available in 20g high-capacity, easy-to-apply tube that are both cost-effective and practical for frequent and high-volume applications. ARCTIC MX-4 high-viscosity thermal compound is also pre-applied or included with ARCTIC's award-winning coolers for today's most powerful desktop/gaming CPU and GPU. I reinstalled OSX and now I'm sitting here at a cool 36C enjoying my non-skin-scalding MacBook Pro.

I'm sure that this thermal paste is much better that what I was using before (Arctic Silver 5).

I've tried other thermal pastes and this is by far the best. It's non-conductive so I don't have to worry about a little extra getting on the board and shorting it out, and it keeps my PS3 RSX and Cell processors at a lower temperature than the others. I'll be buying more when I run out. If you plan on doing more than 2 computers or gaming consoles, I'd recommend this. Otherwise buy the smaller size.

This is a fantastic product. I had installed a Corsair H100i on my Intel i7-4790 but was still seeing temps at or above 80-85 degrees under full gaming load with the stock thermal paste. Not happy with that, I purchased the MX-4, removed the stock junk paste and applied a decent, pea-sized amount onto my CPU. It seemed to make much better contact with the cooling block than the stock, pre-applied paste. Now, under full gaming load, the CPU temp never cracks 50 degrees! It idles at or around 26 degrees. What a difference the MX-4 paste made! I highly, highly recommend using this product.

Way more in the syringe than I thought there was, I bought this in 2012 and I use it 2-3 times a month and I still have over half of it left, probably have enough left for another 3 years. It spreads easy whether you use the pea method and the weight of a heat sink to spread it or spread it manually. This stuff doesn't appear to dry up even after 2 years. Very easy to clean up if you need to reapply. To remove use a paper towel or rag, then use either isopropyl alcohol or ArctiClean.

Overall very happy with this purchase, I definitely got my moneys worth and then some. Lasts forever.

I can say that this is one or maybe the best thermal paste i used. I used it in conjunction with Gelid Icy Vision Rev2, on a Nvidia PNY GTX 470. Normally the temperature were 90-100C on games like Battlefield 3, now i get no more than 50-60C degrees, which is something i really love. :)
The only bad thing was that it took so long to arrive and it didn't came with the invoice, so i need to resend the invoice to the guys that send me the package to my country(ecuador). Other than that, the product deserve a Five Stars :)

Tried different brands of paste and this one is best so far. Doesn't require curing time and stays soft. Easier clean up with isopropyl alcohol, comes right off not like others. Cooling capabilities are good. Temps dropped 2 degrees over arctic silver. Good product and great price for amount you getting.
