Architects agree that the best way to learn where to focus additional preparation time is by taking a sample exam. Architecture Exam Review, ARE Sample Exams: Nonstructural Divisions includes a realistic sample exam for each of the 4 nonstructural divisions of the ARE. Each exam simulates the actual exam for that division through the level of difficulty, length, question format, and the topics covered.

Holly Williams Leppo, AIA, LEED AP, is a registered architect in Pennsylvania and Virginia and a certified interior designer in Virginia. She holds professional certifications from the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards and the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. She is a partner and vice-president at SMB&R, Inc. in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
Holly specializes in adapting old building forms for new uses, including study of applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, appropriate historical forms and proportions, and integration of new technologies, building materials, and techniques into a historic context. She believes strongly in the concept of adaptive reuse of old structures as an environmentally responsible way to meet the demands of modern uses while preserving a community's heritage.
Holly earned her Master of Architecture degree at Washington University in St. Louis after completing a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in integrative arts at The Pennsylvania State University, where she was named to Phi Beta Kappa.
Prior to joining SMB&R, Holly was employed by Hopke & Associates of Williamsburg, Virginia, where served a two-year appointment to the City of Williamsburg Architectural Review Board.
Holly is the author of five technical review guides published by Professional Publications, Inc. of Belmont, California and designed to assist candidates for the Architect Registration Exam in their preparation for professional licensing exams. She is also the author of LEED Green Associate and Accredited Professional exam preparation materials.
In 2009, Holly was named one of Building Design + Construction magazine's "40 Under 40: Superstars of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Industry" and was honored by the Central Penn Business Journal "Forty Under 40". Both of Holly's alma maters have recognized her professional achievements in 2010; she is a recipient of the Penn State Alumni Association Alumni Achievement Award representing The Schreyer Honors College and the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University Young Alumni Award for Distinction.
