It's winter time and my dog has a dry skin problem. He likes to scratch himself at all hours of the night, which is AWESOME when his collar bling jingles between 12 am and 6 am every morning. I bought this because I also noticed his skin had red blotches, and he was trying to eat his skin off. It works fabulously. His skin is not dry, red, and flaky. He still itches, I mean, everyone(dog) itches occasionally, but I'm not startled every morning at odd hours by his scratching and subsequent chain collar jingling.

Also, the original order never arrived. I wrote to them saying it never arrived and they sent another bottle - no questions asked. It's nice to feel validated by a giant company when giant companies are usually pinching pennies, accusing you of lying, or outsourcing your job to another country.

We were having a flea and tick infestation and I had forgotten I had this product. I bought it a while ago and was using a different shampoo on my dog. He had a flea and tick problem and I was determined to get rid of them naturally. This is a great product to have as a part of natural regimen for fighting ticks and fleas. It probably won't work on its own if you have a big flea and tick problem, but using it in conjunction with other natural remedies worked wonders. It killed the fleas and my dog was literally shedding dead fleas after his bath. He also had a lot of skin infections partly due to insects bites that healed completely with the neem shampoo and spray. Some of the other natural flea and tick deterrents we have used are coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, diatomaceous earth, rose geranium oil, and the neem protect spray. It might seem like a lot of trouble to go through using natural tick and flea repellents but it is worth not using pesticides and chemicals. One of our dogs is sixteen years old and he would probably die if we applied Frontline since he's had seizures and paralysis from it before. Natural products really work and they work better that chemicals because bugs don't develop a tolerance to them. It may take longer but the satisfaction of having gone the natural route and proving everyone wrong is so worth it!

This shampoo kills fleas as soon as you appy it to the dogs coat. Do not have to wait for it to work, it is fast, only one problem. It does NOT repel fleas!

It's OK. My Sheltie had fleas and we tried getting rid of them with Ark Naturals - Neem Shampoo and Spray and they wouldn't die.

Arrived much faster than anticipated. The shampoo and spray both work so well. My dogs belly is clearing up nicely. No more constant scratching. Wonderful product.

don't normally write reviews....but...I first ordered this shampoo, for my 2 yorkies with skin problems, about 8 weeks ago. After using this shampoo for a month, weekly, on my dogs there was a noticeable difference...decreased itching and less break out. I can't imagine all the products I've tried in the past....many.....even a couple of fleas on them start allergic reaction on their skin. This product eliminated any fleas and smells very clean and nice. I reordered 3 weeks ago, but was disappointed it was on back order. My order of 2 containers was delivered today, 3 weeks from my order date of December 28th, but the wait was well worth it...They have drastically improved the shipping containment of this product. Each plastic container was wrapped in a plastic bag that was secured at the top...they were secured on a piece of sturdy cardboard with a rubber band...and this was then shrink wrapped with plastic....AMAZING...this was put in a box that it just fit into, and that box could be opened easily with a zip open perforation v-shape....so pleased with the shampoo and the shipping method... I.will be a forever customer :)

This does seem to work well on my dogs allergic skin. She developed environmental allergies this year, and before we got her on benadryl this was the only thing we used. Immediately after bathing, and for several days after (until she jumps in the pond again, oy!) her skin was less inflamed, and she did not scratch as much as she did without the treatment. It helped, but wasn't enough. For mild allergies I believe it would be wonderful. I can't speak to the flea issue. For some reason, though we are surrounded by wooded areas,.dogs, and all sorts of wildlife, fleas have never been an issue...or ticks, really. Northern Ky/Greater Cincy area...dunno why, but happy that it has been so. The fragrance is nise and light, pleasant but not at all overbearing, and though our dog ran around excitedly like a silly goofball (as always after a bath) she did not seem annoyed by it, did not rub her face, head, or roll around as if it bothered or itched her.

This stuff works (in conjunction to trifexis) to keep those pesky fleas and bugs off my puppy while keeping him smelling fresh and clean. His fur isn't as soft as when we use the John Paul Pet Shampoo, but this is also half the price and functions more than just for fluffing up fur. Some people dont like the smell of neem but its fine for us. And it doesn't leave my pups skin dry. Perhaps my only disappointment is the lack of availability for this shampoo in the stores. But I guess it's a good thing Amazon always carry it!
