This is an excellent replacement, providing much more versatility than the OEM suction cup. It is easy to use and requires no technical or mechanical skills.

I was skeptical of this product seeing as the mount that came with my GPS failed miserably. But this mount is awesome! The suctions stays nicely mounted to the windshield and is also pretty easy to put up and release from the windshield.

I have gone thrugh at least eight gps mounts over the past three years. They all wear out after a few months. This one is the best I have gotten to date. I would reccommend this to anyone.

Great for the price, had it on my windshield for over a week now and no problems. Good suction, bought this because the one I got with my TomTom XL would not stay on and was too difficult to place on windshield. Plus it comes with a dash mount option, which I could use if the suction stops working.

This is the third windshield mount I've tried for my TomTom One XL. The first one fell off the windshield without warning; the second one made the GPS vibrate with the movement of the car; this one WORKS! It stays on the windshield and is very stable - no vibrations.

The original mount wouldn't stay on, so before I bought the Arkon mount I just layed it in the right seat and listened to it. I rarely used it.

Now I use it all the time. This is the one TomTom should have put in originally. It stays on the windshield just where you put it, but has adjustments that allow you to set it just right to see without having to remove it and remount it.

The tomtom one is installed on an older car (2001) and it's not as smooth as our newer car. I noticed that while the suction on this item is much improved from the original mount, the mount rattles a bit (probably due to how long the mount is). The original mount doesn't have the shaking issue, but no longer stays on the windshield for more than 10 minutes (which resulted in the navigation unit dropping constantly). So compared to dropping constantly, this item is better than the OEM mount, but it's not perfect.

This mount works perfectly with my Tom Tom One XL & suction cup holds to windshield without using an adhesive disk.

I've had no problems with this mount since purchased. It works much better than the mount supplied with my TomTom. Has not fallen off yet, and it's been several months. The suction lock works good.

Although it took almost a month to receive it, it was well worth the wait. Like others have stated, strong, durable and much better than the OEM that comes with the GPS. The suction doesnt move until you decide to take it off.
