Considering most duduks for sale in other places can reach an upwards of 200-300+ dollars, this duduk is priced relatively cheap, and is quite the bargain; especially for somebody who's interested in the instrument, but doesn't necessarily want to drop several hundred dollars on one.

It's a lovely, well-constructed instrument. It did not come with instructions, however, so you'll have to either find a teacher or online tutorial to help you figure out how to play it; it can be difficult. I had the advantage of having played clarinet, so I was familiar with reeded instruments, but it is still a hard instrument to become proficient with. If you're not used to playing an instrument that requires as much lung-capacity, cheek and lip control as this instrument, then it will be quite an endeavor to play at first. However, with enough practice and proper care, this low-priced duduk can take you a long way and get you started on mastering this instrument: a challenging, yet very rewarding ordeal.

For the money you will not find anything close to this.
I have a box full of cheap DUDUKS and they are that cheap.
I have played some really expensive DUDUKS and they are not a penny better than this one.
Tone is great. Seller took good care of me before, during, and after the sale.

For once I am a very Happy Camper.

I know ordering acoustic instruments through Amazon can be risky, so I thought I would add to the general consensus here and say that I've been playing this thing for about a month now and it has far exceeded my expectations. Highest possible recommendation.

This is a beautiful duduk with a wonderful sound. Take your time to get to know the feel of the instrument. It produces a surprisingly rich sound. The large reeds give it a fairly quick learning curve.

The Duduk arrived quickly through the mail with 3 good reeds. Packaging was neat and efficient looking. I would not hesitate to purchase more products from these guys. Have fun with the new challenge at playing the Duduk.

I bought this Duduk for my husband as a Christmas gift. It arrived quickly and exactly as described. It would be helpful to have some playing tips, reed information or something to that extent to help those who do not already play. It's a challenging instrument to begin with and no information only makes it even more challenging.

I was a little nervous ordering this set but was pleasantly surprised by the craftsmanship. I kind of feel bad for paying so little for it. All three reeds worked great out of the box and the different sizes made for different tones. I've been playing the highland pipes for almost 10 years, so setting up reeds was no biggie, but I'd highly recommend watching some of the how-to videos on youtube for getting the reeds ready to play and for technique. My only concern was the packaging it came in, but all was ok on arrival. Definitely a happy customer!

This is just a fun instrument to play. Mine is in Bb, wish I would have got the standard A, but its good for playing various kinds of songs. Its fun to good off with, interesting to play at first. Worth getting for fun.
