I have had to go dairy free, which has raised issues as I am also a coffee nut. I have tried numerous nut/grain/soy creams in coffee and frankly they all suck. this stuff has the weight and density (mouthfeel) of cream, and tastes delicious. If you like coconut (I do) you will love it. I have also used it in baking, and it performs wonderfully. I particularly like this brand as the cram doesn't separate as much, and the ingredients are more natural.

This product is great! I make my own Chai and I wanted a dairy free cream for it, this totally fit the bill. There is no can, so no BPA. I was previously using Natural Value coconut milk, which has a BPA free can lining and no additives but, the product seperates and is a bit grainy. This coconut cream is not grainy at all and is super rich and cramy with no ghar gum or other additives. Super good, and worth the price.

I tried a one-pack first Coconut Cream - 100% Pure, having decided I like it, I switched to this.

I am on a diet that requires me to temporarily be dairy-free and needed something for my coffee. But I didn't want canned coconut milk, as I understand that the BPA-free cans contain BPS, which is nearly as nasty. I wanted something in aseptic packages.

When I first used it in coffee, it did taste slightly coconut-like, but not in an overwhelming way. I am someone who can't use virgin coconut oil cause it's too strong, I get expeller pressed. But this did not taste like too much coconut for use as a healthy coffee creamer.

The package says to refrigerate after opening and to use within 2 days. I do neither of these and it remains quite yummy & edible.

I have also used it in a few recipes calling for coconut milk just by diluting half way with water.

But my new FAVORITE is adding a tablespoon or two of this to a mug of homemade chicken broth and a bit of sea salt. THIS IS INCREDIBLY YUMMY!

I have purchased many coconut milks and creams in the past, and I have made my own, so I am very familiar with how this product should behave. 100% pure coconut milk or cream has the attribute that the saturated fats will rise to the top and separate from the liquid milk. AROY-D somehow manages to avoid this separation. The coconut cream is a thick and soft gel that you literally need to scoop out of their container and put into a pouring container. There is some very minor separation of cream and liquids, but I use a hand blender on this for a few rotations and I end up with a perfect cream that *stays a cream*. Equally suspicious, none of this fat laded cream ever hardens. Real 100% coconut cream always develops hardened clumps of fat. In any case, AROY-D's coconut cream thickens overnight in a refrigerator, and it is almost like a whipping cream after it hardens. No hard spots or clumps of fat even after refrigeration and settling....

This is great, but it contradicts everything I know about how 100% pure coconut cream should behave. Normally in order to get this homogenized consistency, you need to add an emulsifier or a thickener, such as guar gum. These added ingredients normally have a bland taste that affects the product in a bad way. The AROY-D label claims they have added no other ingredient, but honestly I question how this can be true. The product acts chemically like it has been homogenized perfectly and that can only be done with another ingredient, not with coconut milk alone. With every other coconut cream I have used that does not use an added emulsifying ingredient, there has been a massive separation of fat and liquid.

This is really more like a thick coconut milk rather than a true coconut cream but it's a great non dairy alternative to Heavy Cream or Half and Half for coffee. Both hot and iced! In iced coffee it stays smooth and doesn't turn into gross chunks of cold coconut fat the way some coconut milk or cream brands do. I also make delicious coconut milk yogurt with this product and Trader Joe's light coconut milk in a 1:1 ratio of each. At $10 a carton it's kind of expensive but it is absolutely worth the indulgence.

The carton says it only lasts two days after opening but for me it lasts a week or two. I've only had one carton go bad when I didn't use it fast enough but this was well beyond two weeks past the day I opened it. I highly recommend this product.

This "cream" is not thick like other coconut cream, even when chilled all day in the refrigerator. Also, the cream did not separate and rise to the top when chilled; instead it was homogenous. Those should have been my clues #1 and #2. I made a recipe that I have made many times with another brand of organic coconut cream, using this brand for the first time. Within a half hour of eating it, I had a headache and stomach pains. Also, the flavor of this recipe that we usually love was bland and flat this time. As another reviewer commented, there must be an artificial chemical ingredient, or it's pesticide residues or something of that nature coming through. I recommend AVOIDING this product.
