Horse Drawing Studio is the perfect activity kit for budding artists with a passion for equines! Horses have long been notoriously difficult to draw (let alone animate); Horse Drawing Studio simplifies the process by providing two possible horse models with stand, a set of drawing tools (six pastels, four colored pencils, a graphite pencil, a smudger, and an eraser) and a "Saddle Up!", an easy-to-follow, colorful book that walks one through the process of drawing and coloring horses. Highly recommended not just for children, but also for novice artists of all ages out to capture the spirit of the equine.

When I first opened the Art lab horse drawing studio box and saw the two posable horse models I was delighted. I only regret that this product did not exist when I was a child, who knows, I might have been an artist. Mary Iverson's book is filled with information to satisfy the quest for knowledge of an older child and at the same time it is well illustrated and fun that a younger child can understand and enjoy it too. This product is great for home schoolers that have a child that loves horses. Friends that have seen my art lab for horses have already ordered their own as gifts for their horse crazy nieces.
