I own an older Schwinn 10-speed bike without bottle cage mounts and 1 inch frame tubing. I bought this item from [...], but it looks to be identical. It will only work on a 7/8 inch diameter bike frame post (i.e. my seat post). I over looked the fine print "Works perfectly with Triton brand bicycles."

The item description/specs does not specify the size of tube it fits. This must be designed for kids bikes or tricycles. I wish they were more specific.

It's sturdy, attractive, has smooth edges and a good grip. I'm very happy with this water bottle holder!
I'm using it on my millennial crutches. It's great to be able to carry my water bottle myself. Once I'm ready to bicycle again, this holder will transfer over. Be aware that you will need a 3/16 hex key (allen wrench) to install it; that does not come with the holder.
