Even though written by all the experts, the book lacks editorial oversight and presents itself with a striking absence of coherence in approach, organization, and presentation. Some of the chapters are excellent, others are quite mediocre or less.

This is a great easy to read succinct textbook for colorectal surgery! A MUST HAVE for Fellows especially. The photos and diagrams are great! It is well organized and each section is authored by the experts!
