This product comes Vacuum Sealed, so you can't try it out when you get it. The Shelf Life on the product is 5 years, and this product does have a date stamp. The seller is great, you can communicate with them directly and they are instantly responsive. Please keep in mind that because these products are date sensitive that they may have to ship these directly from the manufacturer and that makes for a small delay, but of course this is necessary so you get a recently manufactured unit.

Great product to have if you work in a high rise building. Think about it, 90% of all victims who die in a fire die from smoke inhalation, buy one of these and you've just increased your chances of surviving that unforeseen event by an order of magnitude. Most people unfortunately wait until its too late. You can choke on toxic smoke in minutes, unfortunately by the time emergency responders get to you it may already be too late: if you've gone down due to smoke inhalation.
