I bought this pair of ASICS to replace another pair that was discontinued. They felt just like the old ones before they became worn out. I knew my old ASICS needed replacing when my foot and knee started to ache after one of my run/walk with the dog. I went on a four mile run/walk twice last week with these new ASICS and I don't remember feeling any aches in my foot or knee. ASICS make the lightest running shoes that offer great support and cushioning. This winter the area where I live is getting really pounded with snow so I have not been able to run/walk regularly, but these shoes are so awesome I'm sure once the weather gets warmer and I start using them regularly, I will need to order another pair just due to plain fact that with running shoes you need to replace them every six months or so because the cushioning and support wears out especially if you are running on concrete ( every three months if you run everyday). The replacement has nothing to do with the quality of the shoes. As a matter of fact my old running shoes that were discontinued could still be used for regular wear if you replace the old insoles with some Doctor Scholls' insert or any brand you prefer.

Feels great. I had bought a pair of New Balance shoes(which I always had boght and they were not all that great) after reading the reviews on the Asics I though I would try these and they are really comfortable. Love the help of reviews :)

I got these for my wife, she has had a hard time finding running shoes that she likes that don't cost an arm and a leg. She really likes these they are very comfortable and aren't very expensive at all we paid around 70 dollars for them.

I'm 69 and have had multitudes of shoes but these are so incredible for one who stands a lot during the day and
hikes in wooded areas. These beat out most of my hiking shoes! Very, very comfortable and they look good too!

These shoes are just what I was looking for. I have a trainer twice a week and need shoes that can do cardio and strength training. The fit is just right, not too big or too small.

I'm happy with the look of the shoe. However, I usually buy Asics with more cushion and wear them for running (which requires more room). Since I just bought these as solely walking shoes and they aren't as "advanced" of a shoe, I ordered half a size smaller than I usually wear. I should have ordered 1 size smaller.

I had been wanting some black Asics shoes. I had bought some blue ones last spring and they were nice, but I wanted the black to blend in with jeans and slacks for winter...not such a stark contrast as the white. I really like Asics because I have some problems with my feet and they always are consistent with size and always feel great on my feet! I have been wearing Asics for years.
