I originally found these shoes at a department store on sale. The fit and feel was great. I even compared side-by-side with a similar model of New Balance. I've used Asics for over 10-years, but felt I should at least give another brand a try. There really was no comparison when it came to fit and feel -the Asics triumphed over New Balance. I decided to "sleep on it" for a day or two, but when I returned to the dept store the sale was over and the Asics shoes were over $80. I found the same model and better selection of color options on Amazon. Two-clicks and 3-days later the shoes were delivered. I practically live at the gym so I had to be extremely calculating in the footwear I choose. If you're like me -I'll save you the trouble in doing a ton of research. If you want a good solid cross-training shoe for a good price -this is it and Amazon's price and shipping cost were even lower than eBay.

I don't run much but need plenty of arch support. These shoes definately have it. I did run a bit and the shock absorbing qualities are much better than the 474 New Balance that I had. So far my vote is a 5 star (day one).

High quality indoor/outdoor shoe with traditional ASICS comfort. They feel a little "beefier" underneath with the more defined treads yet the profile and weight are still generally light...good all around.

I usually run on the grass next to sidewalks in the suburbs...yup that's me running on the grass of you front yard. So I usually end up running over uneven surfaces and these shoes offer wonderful support in these cicumstances. Also, these shoes are very comfortable to run in when I have no choice but to run on the sidewalk.

I bought the Asics Kahana T930N shoes at Academy for $55.00. I'm not kidding these things are ugly - brown and silver with yellow trim... the kind of shoe you won't feel guilty getting dirty in the yard or walking through mud. I've always had a bit of trouble breaking new shoes in. These were cake. In fact, by far these most comfortable shoes I've put on in a long, long time and I have the shoe model taped to my PC monitor so I can order a back-up pair for leisure walking and the gym. I've learned that everybody has different feet, some put their weight more on their heels, others the front of their feet; me... it's my heels and they do serve my arches well. I'm 50 years old and just returned to running after peeling 75 pounds off my frame and gut and my yard is on a hill; thus far my joints are breathing easy on two fronts; thanks!

This is my third purchase of a Running shoe in ASICs Kahana series. Nice looking, long wearing, and comfortable shoe that can be worn day to day, during exercising, or on the trail. I do purchase one size larger with ASICs shoes and it seems to work out just right.

I have used the New Balance brand for running shoes for the past 11 years. I recently switched because the newer New Balance shoes are very poor quality, and painful to run in. As soon as I tried this shoe on I was sold! Very comfortable, and the quality is a BIG difference in comparison to every New Balance I tried on at the store.

Recently went trail running in my Kahana 3's and was surprised how well they performed off road on steep trails and rocks. Originally tried these for road running and found them comfortable but too bulky and gave me a couple blisters. I went back to my old road shoes and gave these a try on trails. If you're looking for a trail running shoe for a decent price, this shoe may be for you. If you're looking for a road shoe, look somewhere else.

I have a wide (4E) foot and finding shoes that fit at a shoe store was virtually impossible. Not everyone has the same shoe size. Amazon has a sellection like no other and though I was hesitant about ordering shoes 'on-line', I am glad I did. Perfect fit and comfort. These shoes are GREAT!

My feet fell in love with this pair the first time they were put on. It's light and comfortable. I can keep on working out with no stress on the feet. The best exercise shoes I ever had for the right price. Highly recommended for those looking for an athletic shoes who are on a budget hunt.
