Used to be a New Balance guy, but the last pair of running shoes I got was the Asics Gel-Nimbus 12 because it was recommended at a running store and got very good reviews. Was so impressed with those that I decided to check out Asics walking shoes for daily use (at work, etc).

WOW, I am super impressed with the comfort and quality of Asics shoes in general, and specifically the Gel-Tech Walker Neo beats any other pair of walking shoes I've ever bought hands down. Good support, comfortable, nice cushioning, and the upper mesh is incredibly breathable (similar to a very breathable running shoe).

Price is a little steep for a walking shoe, but for someone like me who has had chronic knee issues, I'm willing to pay for quality.

Am going to get a second pair ASAP, although it would be nice if this shoe was released in two different color schemes so I could have two different-looking pairs!

I've had alot of shoes and have never been very happy with how they fit and feel. These are the most durable and comfortable walking shoes I've had. I have used them in a variety of terrains and they always feel comfortable. Nikes are a joke and a waste of money. If you want shoes that were made for walking and running, then go with Asics!

The ASICS walking shoe is an excellent product.I can't imagine that it would not make any walker of any age quite satisfied to own a pair of these shoes. I am 83 years old and suffer from peripheral neuropathy and these shoes help me a great deal in my walking. I should mention that these shoes were rated as a "best buy" by the Consumer Report magazine. All in all, it was a great buy!!

This shoe was rated as a best buy by Consumer Reports. I disagree. It fit my foot well, but did nothing to reduce my back pain when on my feet for any length of time. As far as shoes go, it's just average. Great job by the seller to ship it to me in a timely manner at a fair price.
