I bought a pair of Asics Gel-trabuco 12 last fall when I was running to get in shape for the upcoming snowboarding season. They were my first pair of asics after mixed success and failure with Adidas and other brands (one pair was really reliable, but another pair I blew out the toe-box in a few weeks!)

I logged a good 25-30 miles a week in them for a few months, including some 8-9 miles runs, mostly in the fall and early winter. They're not waterproof, but I thought they did pretty good as long as I tried to avoid the puddles. These are a little wider up front which is nice, and reinforced so it's not just your foot causing friction against the mesh upper, which I think caused the failure on several pairs of adidas.

As I get back in to running this spring/summer, yesterday I bought two more pairs of these: one regular pair for the summer, and one gore-tex pair for those wet days in the spring and fall, which hopefully will last through the winter, too.

Purchased a year ago after seeing a review in a running magazine. The price was a little steep at the time ($150), but I liked the design along with the reviews that it received. Decided to purchase anyways. Upon trying them on, I noticed that it fit very well and had a good bit of toe area for a running shoe (unlike Nike, which end up hurting my feet when work for more than an hour). These ended up being the most comfortable running shoes i've ever purchased. I bought them intending to use them for an all-around tennis shoe. Ive worn them for PFTs in the Marine Corps, trail running, and even for just daily routines like going to Wal-Mart. After wearing them for a year, I can definitely say that these have been the most versatile pair of shoes I've ever purchased. The design pattern features mainly shades of grey with a subtle taste of orange. Because of the neutrality of the shoe, they can be worn with various outfits & colors. If you are looking for a comfortable shoe that performs just as well on a trail as it does on pavement, this is the one for you.

Overall: Light, comfortable, & durable. Performs just as well on trails as it does on pavement. Unique, yet subtle design that goes well with various outfits. Tested for a year, still in great condition with no maintenance. Very sturdily made. A personal favorite!

These Trabucos are by far the best knock-around shoes I've owned. I generally use them for walking, hiking and running errands on the weekends. Not only do they look great, but they provide great support. My foot pain is markedly less when I wear these shoes.

I originally bought a pair of these off the clearance rack at Sports Authority for $25, because they looked good. Then after wearing them around, I actually discovered they were great to run in. I'm 5' 11" and about 195lbs, with very flat feet, and these fit me very well, and provided me with plenty of cushioning and stability for running on the road as well as on trails. I'm not a long distance runner by any means, my runs are usually between 3 and 5 miles, so these may not be the lightest shoes around but they definitely suit my needs.

Also, I like the darker gray color, since you can wear them with jeans or shorts and not look completely dorky like you might with traditional white-colored running shoes.

Too bad I couldn't find any other clearance deals on these shoes, but since that initial purchase, I've bought 3 additional pairs off of Amazon for a much higher price.

Great shoe. True to size with other Asics. More substantial than a road running shoe. Just what I needed for the grassy trails I run.

For lack of better words, the shoes are heaven on my feet. While the rest of my friends were getting sore feet from walking around Italian ruins, Spanish cities and Monte Carlo. My feet were feeling great!

The seller was actually very good at handling the urgency of the situation. I was able to get in direct contact with them, negotiate my situation and receive my items in a timely matter. I would recommend this SELLER to anyone, ANYONE! You're money is safe with this one, unlike a few other jackasses trying to make a buck.

Have done trails out west to the one's here in the east...amazing shoes....just enough stiffness where the bottoms of your dogs don't get sore.

This shoe is perfect for me. I teach PE outside early in the morning. Good support, and water proofing is a huge plus. Will definitely buy again.

I don't have much to say other than I really like this shoe. I am very active, but I have very flat feet, so I'm pretty picky about shoes, since many of them make my feet hurt with extensive running. These are comfortable and have a nice solid feel to them, yet are very shock absorbing. Will buy again.
