5.0 out of 5 stars Get these shoes!
Shopped for any trail runners. Narrowed it down to a couple. Tried Asics because their running shoes hold up. These monsters kick serious @ss! and are very comfy doing it. I expect them to hold up to anything I can throw at them and do it longer than most. If ur on the fence between a couple shoes, get off and go get 'em. You won't be disappointed.

3.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable Trail Runner, But Poor Footbed
These are probably the most comfortable trail running shoes I have ever owned. But, I had to search for a replacement footbed immediately after my first run. I have normal width and arch feet. The footbed that comes with these shoes is inexcusable -- it's paper thin and flimsy. It would slide under-foot while running and bunch up in the toes or heal. Sadly, Asics doesn't...

Sadly, Asics doesn't make a replacement footbed so I had to use a Montrail footbed ($25) which is more sturdy.
Otherwise, the shoes are now very comfortable. Strange sizing, too. Alittle small. I'm hoping the next version of these is better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice shoes, May 1, 2010

Very good trail running shoes. You can go everywhere, hard, stable and comfortable. And the grey color really covers all the dust you can get on the road. Agree on the sizing, just a little bit small than a normal ASICS 12.
