This is my second pair of Gel Trail Sensor 3s. Excellent traction and cushioning, especially under the balls of my feet which I really need. Lacing system takes some getting used to, but on the whole I love these shoes!

I used these shoes immediately on the trails. I was able to run much faster with less slippage and no sore feet. I ran over rocks, tree stumps with no problems. I would highly recommend and buy again.

This shoe is tough strong and lots of cushion. I has a steel plate to protect your arches, nice lace system. Only bad thing is the look of the shoe but in a way it's good because it's all about the work.

Great shoe. My new favorite model. Great price here on Amazon, some places sell it as much as $125?! I'm running 2-4 miles several days a week and weigh around 220 lbs. Good system to lessen the pounding. I only run on grass/dirt/off road. (I'm a PT, listen to me when I tell you way better on your joints to stay off the pavement! You might save yourself from having to replace your knees at age 50) Either way comfortable, light weight, good traction and sole protects you from sharp rocks, etc. I've tried Addidas, Nike, New Balance, Saucony...all trail runner models for "heavier" runners, this shoe has been the best for me. (Looks good too)

my husband is EXTREMELY picky about his shoes, but I ordered these without telling him, and he absolutely loves them.. He loves the support they give, and he says they are very lightweight!

These are excellent trail running shoes. The shoes are very light weight. I was supprised by how light they felt. At the same time they are rugged and can take the punishment and abuse of the trails. These shoes also provide good ventilation. At the end of my run, my feet aren't too sweaty or stink. These shoes quickly replaced my other (care not to name the brand) trail running shoes that I own. I would recommend these running shoes.

I've owned the Assics Gel-Enduro 4 (purchased at a local retailer) for less than a year and they are ready for the trash. Despite using them primarily for walking and light hiking, the mesh upper fabric has developed holes above my big toe area in both shoes (Great "additional ventillation."). They are comfortable and light when I wear them with an "after-market" cushion insole however, the fabric mesh wore-out way too soon, in my opinion. I will not be replacing these shoes with another Assics product.

Hopefully, this newer model has better quality, more durable upper mesh fabric.
