I purchased two pairs of running shoes from Amazon while on vacation in San Francisco. One pair were the straight running shoe and the second the trail shoe. Both shoes were US11.5 EE size. The running shoes fitted great but the trail shoe was very tight in the toe box. I guess I should have sent them back but though I could fix the problem by removing a portion of the inner sole in the toe box. Big mistake! In the end I purchased a set of shoe-stretchers .Bravo-fit Shoe Stretchers - Premium Hardwood Large Size 9-14 and that has fixed the problem. So how how are they for trail running? Well I find them great. I tried them on a short trail run in the Waitakere Ranges in Auckland that had a good variety of terrain. Mud, roots, uphills, downhills and they felt surefooted and comfy. I would recommend them but be prepared to go bigger if the toe box squeezes your forefoot despite ordering the same size as your runners

I own two pair of these shoes. Great to run in even better to walk in. The supplier had reasonable delivery and good prices. I'd buy from them again.

Comfortable but questionable quality. The asics logo on the sides of the shoes are coming undone after a few weeks of wear. Can be probably fixed with super glue.

The Asics men's shoes arrived on time and in good condition. They are attractive. The darker color is better for places where people dine in jeans at night with a blazer or sweater. I am still waiting for them adjust and mold to my feet, or whatever Asics advertises, but they feels pretty good as it is. For hot weather I prefer my New Balance sneakers because the leather upper shoe breaths more easily. They are also not as pricey. I bought the Asics because of my bad knee. However, I will have to put that idea on hold because my knee doctor convinced me that it was better not to put off getting a total knee replacement while I am still in relatively good shape. The Asics should protect my knees and feet when taking long walks in places such as San Francisco where the walking surfaces are often hard. I rated them four stars because they are not fully broken in yet. In time, I expect to be very pleased with my purchase.
