There is a little more height in the sole on the Flashpoint, so that took a little adjusting too.

overall a great court shoe. Lightweight and responsive. I bought them for playing squash and have had no problems with them.

I am using these shoes to play squash. They are very nice, supportive and have good cushioning. I am totally satisfied with this purchase and happy to recommend these shoes to other squash players.

I'm using this shoe for squash and will compare it to my last shoe: the ASICS Men's GEL-Domain 2. First, I had to exchange the Flashpoint immediately. The perfect size in the GEL-Domain 2 was a half-size too large in the Flashpoint. Read other reviews...order a half size smaller than you think you'll need. The Flashpoint feels more narrow than the GEL-Domain 2 as well, even though both are a medium width. There is a little more height in the sole on the Flashpoint, so that took a little adjusting too. Overall though, I'm pretty happy with the Flashpoint...just be careful on the sizing and you should be pleased.

I bought these for squash. They are super light weight but a bit wide (I have a narrow foot) and run a 1/2 size big so order half size smaller. I regularly wear 11's in asics so I ordered an 11 but they felt like 11.5s. Need to send back and reorder for 10.5.

They give great support and yet are light and cushiony (if that's a word!). Great value for the price. Came in the right size and fit perfect. Highly recommend.

I received these, wore them for two hours around the house, and then played volleyball for two hours in them. I used to play in NB Minimus Cross-Trainers. I have nothing bad to say about the NB's but obviously they're not made for volleyball. They are ultra light which I loved. I got these, reluctant because they weighed more, but was presently surprised. The .001" I lost in vertical was made up from the increased sole size. The support was fantastic. As you could imagine, my foot was really bothering me playing in the NBs. The pain was resonating up my leg to the point where it felt like I had shin splints. At that point I decided to make a change. I remembered what it was like to get actual tennis shoes to play tennis in so I thought I would give actual volleyball shoes a try. Wow! Two hours of play and very little pain in my foot (mainly because I didn't give it enough time). I would highly recommend these. They are light for volleyball shoes, somewhat stylish, and compared to cross-trainers, they are a must have for an avid volleyball player. Size seemed to be spot on. I wear a 10.5 in all my sport shoes and these 10.5's fitted perfectly. Again, if you're on the fence about getting volleyball shoes, take the plunge.

I used to think these court shoes, that I use for squash, were the best court shoes I've used because they fit like running shoes, whereas other squash shoes i've used feel heavy and stiff. However, i've owned 3 pairs of these shoes and I have to change them out prematurely because I get a gaping hole in the front stitching with between 4-8 weeks of use. I've never had this issue with other squash shoes I've used, so I suspect this is a defect in this shoe. This applies to the funky blue/green shoe as well. I have seen other people develop the same problem with this shoe as well.

    Bought these after using
    - Asics Gel Domain 2 and
    - Asics Gel Resolution
for a while, both of which had been pretty decent buys and are very popular with the squash and tennis crowd.

These are a lot lighter than the other two. The top is also a lot more flexible which may or may not be to the liking of some people. It makes the shoe more breathable but also takes a little bit away from stability of the foot in the shoe as there is more give during vigorous movement.

The base of the shoe/grip with the wooden court surface is great and I have had no problem with slipping etc on squash courts. Would definitely recommend the product.
