My son has run in a few 5K's. He was 11 at the time. The first 5K he ran in some Nike's. Never did he know such a difference could be made by the shoe you wear. The Nike was a running shoe, but when he put the Asics on, it was like running on a cloud. I can't tell you the excitment he had for running once he put these shoes on. He liked running before, but now he just loves running in his Asics.

I'm a women's 6 1/2, and size 4 kids usually fits me perfectly, but these shoes in size 4 pinch my toes a little, so I would definitely size up half a size. Otherwise, these shoes are awesome. They put a spring in your step and make running so enjoyable!
