I've owned a pair of New Balance before and thought that is what running shoes were supposed to feel like. It was time to buy a new pair of shoes and after some research I decided to try these on at the store. Wow. These shoes are wonderful! After a workout my feet don't feel tired or ache. I can't say anything bad about these shoes. They're are great! I know what shoes I'll be buying again when needed. Highly recommened!

I have had my Asics Kayano 13's for about 9 months. They are worn out from action . I have worn them on all sorts of off road terrain and also on track . I compete in running events almost every weekend .I have tried many shoe manufacturers and models .I will buy another pair. These are brilliantly comfortable and lightweight. I recommend them. Price is a little high but these are EXCELLENT ... Gerry K

Great stability and cushioning shoe. I have had trouble with shin splints and my achillies and find these shoes far superior to the 2100 series. Definitely worth the extra money spent, I wouldn't go back to 2100s.

The Kayano 13 is a great shoe; it provides stability and a nice ride without feeling to heavy. For previous marathons and ultras I have worn other Asics and have been happy with their performance. A good friend recommended that I move to higher stability shoe to protect my joints when doing high mileage on the pavement. The Kayanos are great for pavement and moderate trail running. I am very pleased with this shoe and will buy them again.

I have owned dozens of Asics sneakers, and loved them all, but after years of running, I have developed heel spurs/plantar fascitis, and needed more support than they were offering. I tried the high end offering from different brands like the Saucony Pro Grid Tirumph and the Brooks Adrenaline GTS. They were great shoes too, but not much better than my old Asics. Then I went to the Addidas Supernova. The cushioning was fantastic, but I still had foot/heel pain. I didn't think any sneaker was worth $135, so I stayed away from these.

Finally, when the Kayano 14 came out, a local store had the Kayano 13 on sale for $70, so I tried them. They are worth the $135 and then some! These are the best sneakers I have ever run in. Incredible cushioning, fantastic support,great breathability, and the usual top quality construction you can expect from Asics. The pain didn't go away entirely, but it was much more tolerable.

Then my podiatrist recommended Superfeet insoles. I tried the green variety in these shoes, and the pain is long gone. The insoles are another $30, but these shoes with those insoles are worth whatever you have to pay for them...they are the ultimate combination. I am now back in marathon training mode, after a year and a half of barely being able to walk more than 15 minutes without being in pain.

I've been running in New Balance for years for my narrow feet. A store suggested I try these instead, and I did. What a difference! Now, I float instead of plod, by knees don't hurt after running and I feel like I'm faster.

I did have to replace the insoles with ones with stronger arch support. That filled up the extra space and gave me a perfect combination: great cushioning with real support.

These are the best running shoes I have ever owned! They are my first pair of ASICS, and I can tell a big difference. When the time comes I will only buy ASICS again.

The Kayano is a marvelous shoe. This is my fourth pair and I won't run in anything else.

Have been wearing Kayano's for 6 years and they are the most comfortable on my feet. They hold onto my heel which I have had a problem with other shoes.

Asics Kayano continues to dominate. Best all around shoe. Spend a little more now and the shoes will out last the mid-range competition - you'll have to buy fewer shoes.
