ASICS Men's GEL-Motion Walking Shoe

As with Asics in general, a good product at a reasonable cost. I have been walking marathons the last four years and doing the preliminary training walks. I have previously relied on Asics running shoes. I don't notice a big difference to be honest. I liked the running shoes (2120, 2130, 2140's) and I like these, too.

This is my second ASICS in a row. Put little over 500 miles on first pair (I'm 180 lbs). First model was terrific! When I went to re-order it I found out ASICS no longer made that model. I thought this one would be comparable. I wanted a good gel style walking shoe.

This shoe was a perfect fit out of the box. I'm one of those that has one foot a bit larger than the other but the tighter shoe still fit comfortably.

I've walked in this pair about 100 miles since purchase. What I first noticed was it seemed already broken in (I.e. I didn't notice the effect of the gel like I did in their previous model) on day one. That's a con IMO). But, to its credit this pair does feel good and comfortable every day. I'm hoping I'll get 500 miles out of these as well but hopefully the next pair (will be ASISC again) I get will have more gel and be again considered a "walking" shoe.

I recommend this shoe for walking.

I'm a senior male and walk 12-18 miles per week. No other walking shoe provides me with the features in the ASICS gel. They fit 'like a glove' the very first time I put them on!

I have only one problem with these shoes--They are not as good or as comfortable as the ASICS walking shoes that I bought 10 years ago. They are better than anything else on the market. I walk over 3 miles a day for exercise and the shoes do the job.

I bought these shoes for Volksport (Volksmarching), and the first time I tried them was a cold day. These shoes breathe so well, I had to change back out of them to keep warm. Great for summer sports, though. Good arch support and heel cushion.

These shoes are very good, fit in right out of the box. I'm a healthcare professional in a big hospital, so I have to do a lot of walking from one wards to the next all day long and these shoes are so comfortable. it doesn't hurt my knees and feet at the end of long shift.

I was hesitant to order a pair of shoes over the internet but very happy I did.
They fit great, are very comfortable and are well worth the $65 price - which is
less expensive than the sporting goods stores. I first used them on vacation where I
did a lot of walking. They felt great the entire time.

its nice and i like it very much, i use it daily and its light weight and flexiable.....
