Thank you for your feedback.
They fit true to size for me, and the optional triathlon type bungee laces are a nice change of pace.
I was kinda skeptical when I first saw these shoes on-line but I am so glad that I bought them.
They are comfortable, fit my wider feet nicely, and I get plenty of comments that are complementary.

    About ASICS
In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. He chose the name ASICS for his company in 1977, based on a famous Latin phrase "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano," which, when… Read the story & more in Amazon's ASICS Store.

I have loved my pair of ASICS GEL-Noosa Tri 6 running shoes, and have now augmented my athletic shoe lineup with these slightly more subdued Tri 7's. These shoes are light, comfortable, and extremely durable. They provide good stability and are well suited to distance running. The fit is generally excellent, and I have had no issues with hot spots. There are two minor caveats I must give about this shoe, however. The GEL-Noosa Tri 7 (and the Tri 6 before it) runs small. The consensus opinion seems to be to order one half size larger than normal, but I found that I needed a whole size larger to be truly comfortable. The second issue is that the tongue is tacked to the outboard side of the shoe: this is a matter of personal preference, and while it is great for donning and doffing them quickly, you will likely find that if your feet are even a touch wide the tongue doesn't center up on your foot. On both my Tri 6's and Tri 7's I cut the tongues loose, and they are now perfect for me.

While I like the color scheme better on the more dazzling Tri 6's, nobody can accuse the Tri 7's of being subtle: the only color available for men is "Pop Yellow/Tropic Green/Noosa Glow," though that description hardly does them justice. What is interesting and amusing about the Tri 7's is the glow in the dark "Noosa" legend on the heel and toe. While ASICS advertises this as a safety feature (and it certainly doesn't hurt for low-light running) I'm convinced it's there more to be cool. And cool they are. The mesh upper is extremely comfortable and breathes wonderfully, while the appearance can be a tad startling and even conversation-provoking.

If you remember to order a larger size than normal (try them on in a store if you can) these will be a comfortable, light, and visually stunning pair of shoes that will last for a long time. I love mine.

    I've used to race triathlon.
For me it's similar feeling to the Asics Kayano but lighter.
I'm overpronator and have no problems with them
    I recommend

While I have been running for over 10 years, I only started triathlons 2 years ago and it quickly became obvious that the cycle to run transition zone is where time can be lost. I dismount from the bike and leave my shoes on the pedals so it is important that the running shoe used is quick to fit and comfortable/no rubs without socks. After trying various alternatives I heard about the ASICS Noosa Tri. I have now run three triathlons with these shoes fitted with the elastic laces supplied. The tongue being sewn in faciliates a rapid "shoe on" and when running the shoe without socks is supportive, comfortable and to date I haven't experienced any feet raw spots or blisters. Maybe the professionals use something else but for me they are a perfect accessory; now all I have to do is swim, cycle and run faster!

I had been a life-long Mizuno purchaser and picked up a pair of the Noosa's about 5 months ago while I train for an Ironman triathlon. I run without socks and needed a seamless upper to avoid chaffing and blistering. These shoes fit the bill for my long runs and felt great. The balance, cushion, and lightness all were marked improvements over what I would use from Mizuno. I would run 2 hour blocks and my feet would still feel okay. The toe-box is wider than other shoes I've used but I find this helps me out by allowing my feet to swell over the course of a long run. However, it took a bit of work to get these shoes tweaked to work with my feet properly.

The stretch laces are nice and I use these for faster transitions but I quickly found that with a traditional lacing pattern I would end up with a hard spot on my little toe where I could feel the lace pressing in as it loops through the eyelets. I relaced the shoes to an alternate lacing pattern by skipping holes and solved the problem. That ended up with a lot of elastic laces hanging out the top of the shoe that I had to cut and burn to prevent fraying. Also, in order to avoid the chaffing caused by a small seam near the tongue and pressure from the heel I have to use body glide on my feet prior to use; which of course increases time in transition.

The glow in the dark features are nice for shorter runs that I do in the late evening however the glow fades after about 10 minutes without a recharge. I find it more a novelty than a necessity.

After 5 months of running these are breaking down rather quickly and I'm getting sharp pains from within the construction where the heel-cup meets the side of my foot. The padding around that has broken down and I can feel the hard edge of the heel-cup.

I bought these because they where lightweight, very flexable, and look at that color! EVERYONE makes a comment!

After wearing them for a day, then a week then 5 months I KNEW they where the most comfortable Best shoe I have ever worn.

Im a 33 yr old guy, work out daily, put my noosa's on at 6am, wear untill 3 pm, gym, 3 hrs on concrete, 4 hrs driding in the car ( rural mail carrier) These shows are amazing!! my feet never hurt!

You can clearly tell when you have worn them out.. it was my first pair ever that I noticed.. after about 7 months of heavy use all of the sudden my hips started to bother me, as did my knees, so I switched shoes, pain gone, I for sure had used the life up.. so I have retired them.. mistakenly got the asics gel frantic 4 thinking they would be the same.. WRONG!!! I will only buy the Noosa tri from now on...

Oh and they glow in the dark on the heel and tip for you night time/early morning runners!!! amazing inovation I think!

they are a mesh material on top of the foot, so in really cold weather/snowy, not the best for a warm dry foot.
