Good but wouldn't order again, December 6, 2010
This review is from: ASICS Men's GEL-Sensei 3 Volleyball Shoe (Apparel)
I've played racquetball in them 4-5 times a week for the last 6 months. In my quest for comfortable shoes these are so-so even after adding SuperFeet insoles. Buying rball shoes (court shoes) is difficult since there isn't a store to try them on. The Sensei-3 are good in all other respects; grip, durability, style. My shoes before these were the Volley-Cross...liked them but cant find them anymore. Tried HiTec and returned them...not comfortable for my feet. At the premium price I expect to be comfortable. I'll continue to wear these as I save my pennies for my next pair. I suggest to give these a try but I would not buy again. My search continues.

Beware sizing, October 31, 2011

I use these shoes for racquetball and squash. There are no shops in my area which sell legit shoes so I had to go online for these. Unfortunately, that meant i couldnt try them on. Alas, the best I could do was order these shoes based on the size of my old squash shoes (k-swiss if the brand helps you), size 9. These asics however seem to be more like a size 9.5 or 10 in comparison (despite being 9's.) That being said, if you are ordering them for volleyball or somethings else, I could see such a discrepancy mattering less because the shoes dont need to fit as snugly as for squash. But, seriously, if you can try them on, TRY THEM ON before you buy. Evaluate if you should return them/buy them by doing sharp lunges jumping forward and landing on one foot to try to make it slide. If your foot slides forward in the slightest- they are to big, at least for squash- your toes shoudl almost be jammed in the front with no space to the front (thought this shouldnt hurt your toes). I didn't do all of this to a sufficient extent because they do fit rather well- just not well enough for squash and after my first game it was too late.
Otherwise, they are great shoes. SO much cushioning, pivot points on the sole for quick turns, great lacing design. They are a bit on the heavy side but that's a tradeoff for more cushioning (which I think is worth the sacrifice for a litt more weight.)
They get one star off for the price (come on - other stores have them for $85.)
