There's a trick with these gloves. The top of the fingers and the tops of the hands are well insulated but material covering the palms is much thinner.

What this allows you do is regulate the temperature of your hands without taking the gloves off. If your hands are cold, you make fists to cover the thinner palm material. If your hands get warm and sweaty, you open your hands to expose the thinner material which cools and dries very quickly. Since my hands are constantly too cold or too warm when I run (I don't know why), I'm doing this all the time. It's much easier than taking the gloves off and putting them back on repeatedly.

The thin palm material has another advantage: these are perfect photography gloves. I can hit small buttons and turn dials on my camera almost as if I'm not wearing gloves at all.

Got these for Christmas. I used on about 10 runs so far. They are good until about 10-15 degrees. Anything below that and you will have to add a pair over these. Great for anything above 10-15 degrees. Worth every penny!

These gloves are not good for cold weather. I have run with these gloves when the temp is between 25-35 degrees and I could do better with a pair of $2 cotton work gloves. The gloves look nice and fit well but the main purpose is to keep your hands warm and these gloves fall well short of keeping your hands warm.
