I bought these shoes for my son and he has nothing but great things to say about this shoe. They have held up well and as a wrestler he really feels as though they help his wrestling.

This is a great shoe for comfort and flexibility. While it is great on the mat it seem flawed as the velcro strap backing separated after a few times on the mat. This may have been a sewing flaw but I have encountered many shoes of lesser quality and pricing and never experienced a flaw. I wasn't wanting to deal with a return so I purchased some fabric glue and reattached the backing.

I got these at teh same time as Split Second 8 shoes and was immediately happy with the design. However, the double velco band that goes around your ankle is simply too short to actually fix properly. I don't have big ankles either so I'm not entirely sure who would be able to do these up without cutting off the circulation to their foot! Other than that these are a good shoe. Even though they are the same size as the Split Second they are a little tighter on the toe.

I bought these shoes for my high school wrestler in mid-November. Here we are in January and the sole has split in half. Don't waste your money.

I bought these for my son who is a high school wrestler for christmas in 2008. He loved them at first, very comfortable - good traction. The velcro lace straps began to fall apart within a month. Now one year, the sole has split in half and with only 6 weeks left in his senior year I'm stuck buying him new wrestling shoes. His previous pair of $30 wrestling shoes lasted him 3 years - what a waste of money these were!

bought them just to go to the gym ... and they're a bit tight for that

excellent for wrestling though

Lasted me a Season and even the summer great look great feel. Little pricey but whatever.
