This is my second pair of running asics. Fit comfortably out of the box and have now run twice in them. No blisters, no rubbing, no break in time.
I will hopefully wear these out and get another pair!

I am an over pronator and these shoes definitely work for me! I've been very loyal to the Asics brand, as they are the only shoes that seem to support my foot really good. I would highly recommend these shoes! I've ran with them on the treadmill and outside and they've definitely proved to work. I did get a blister on one foot the first time I wore them, but this is typical for me and any new shoe. Size is definitely true to foot size also.

I bought these shoes based on the recommendation of our local running store. They were comfortable in the store, but maybe too flexible in retrospect. I am a moderate to severe over pronator and these provided adequate support, so I thought I would give them a try. First off, I have a medium to wide foot. I usually buy wide sneakers and normal width shoes, so I would not say I have a super wide foot. The wide in this shoe is not really that wide. It fit me comfortably, but I learned on the first day I had to wear a thin sock with them. My biggest complaint is my feet fall asleep while running in these shoes. I have used them 3 times, indoors on the treadmill, running a total of about 14 torturous miles over 3 days. Today, I had to stop every 1.5 miles to wake up my feet. No matter how I adjusted the laces, I just couldn't get it right. Also, I noticed my hips are killing me tonight. Needless to say, I am never wearing them again. Unfortunately, now I am out $100 and need to find a replacement shoe for my Saucony Progrid Stabil 6 that were heavenly to me, but sadly discontinued.

If you are not a runner and just looking for a comfortable shoe, it is not bad just walking around doing minor things. It is attractive.

I spent some time researching shoes for overpronation before deciding to try these. I know these aren't supposed to be the best of the best but I thought they'd be a nice compromise of price and function. They were cheap but have almost zero stability for me. I can't run in these without pain. If you have neutral feet or only slight overpronation then they probably are great. For serious over-pronators I guess you get what you pay for.

I own two pairs of these shoes because I purchase running shoes in pairs in order to alternate them. These shoes are the worst investment I've ever made in a pair of running shoes. I overpronate severely, and I had a pair of the foundation 8. The foundation 8 were acceptable when it came to support and cushioning; however, the foundation 9 are useless. I would not recommend these if you liked the foundation 8 - you will be disappointed.

Needed a shoe with arch support for my over-pronation....this shoe offers support while still offering comfort....nice wide toe box as well.

I suffered from severe plantar fasciitis for years, and without insurance, I could not afford to go to a podiatrist. I went to my local running store and the girl highly recommended Brooks. I paid the money, bought the inserts, and never had relief. I did the ice, rest, stretching, golf ball, etc and never experienced pain-free feet. This 20 something quit kickboxing, dancing, ellipticals, and cardio that had me on my feet but to no relief. I moved to a new city, and after years of buying Brooks, I bought an Asics gel 9, and six months in, I HAVE NO PAIN!!! The shoes (Brooks and Asics) are comparable in price, but I never ever found relief with Brooks. I LOVE THIS SHOE, AND WILL BUY IT AGAIN! I highly recommend Asics, and especially Gazelle's in downtown Kalamazoo, MI as the best place to find salespeople that listen to you, pull many different shoes, and really spend time with you. I can't remember the girl's name that helped me, but I am going back to buy another pair of Asics.

I work at a large retail chain, lots of walking and on my feet 8-10hrs at a time. I have developed flat feet and decided to try these based on the recommendations of others. I didn't think they were doing much at first but now about 2 weeks in my legs and hips aren't killing me at the end of the day. They do run a little small. I went a half size up and that was fine. Love the cushioning around the heal. I have a narrow heal and my feet stay in the bottom of the shoes. I would buy them again if they aren't discontinued by then. If they are I will buy the 10.

I have been buying and using asics for several years now. Being a bit overweight I really appreciate the cushioning and comfort these shoes provide on my journey to becoming healthier and lighter. It makes my short jogs in the morning so much better. I have so far used them 4 times now and haven't had any problems or issues. I love these sneakers!
