5.0 out of 5 stars Very happy with shoe!
I have horrible plantar fasciitis in both feet & so far I haven't even needed my orthotics in these. Very happy with them.

1.0 out of 5 stars With Asic, size is relative
I have worn a woman's size 10 and a half for many, many years. When I bought these shoes I ordered that size. When I got them, even though they said 10 and a half, they were either a 10 or 9 and a half. Way too tight. I spent ten dollars returning them and got an 11. Better, but snug aroun the toes. I will now need to return them for an 11 wide, if they have it. Lest you...

5.0 out of 5 stars Dressy with great support, April 8, 2010

I have plantar fasciitis and was looking for a sneaker that looked more dressy. I love my ASICS sneakers and looked for plain black ASICS on Amazon. These are very supportive. My only issue is that my heels are a bit narrow and they do not fit my heels as well as the other ASICS I own. I do wear these in place of dress shoes with my long pants and love the comfort!

1.0 out of 5 stars With Asic, size is relative, January 6, 2011

When I got them, even though they said 10 and a half, they were either a 10 or 9 and a half. Way too tight. I spent ten dollars returning them and got an 11. Better, but snug aroun the toes. I will now need to return them for an 11 wide, if they have it. Lest you think that this one style is the only one that runs small, during all this I ordered another pair of asics, because other than the size issue they feel comfortable. I ordered these in an 11, and although they are long enough, they are again tight around the toes. If you do order any asics, they do have nice shoes, order a half size up and make them a size wider than you normally do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Shoe Ever!, September 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I was fitted with a running shoe about 15 years ago and it was an ASICS. I tried other shoes that were cheaper and learned not to do it! ASICS makes a great shoe and it is absolutely the best you can buy for your money. Yea, it is a bit more expensive; however, you get what you pay for and this shoe will take a lot of miles whether you are walking or jogging. This shoe will never let you suffer foot pain or discomfort. I will never buy anything else!

4.0 out of 5 stars Runs slightly smaller than other ASICS, January 3, 2011

Nice shoe - comfortable. Wide at the toe, as others have mentioned, but at the same time the length is slightly less. Looks a little clunky, but for walking, who cares?

3.0 out of 5 stars It's a good shoe but I didn't like the wide style, December 24, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Platypus style-- for me the front of the show seemed too wide and splayed out when I put on the shoes.
I know designers widen the front of shoes for balance but the sole looks like it spreads out and sticks too far
out for my liking around the front of the shoe (I suppose for stability). but...Since I already have a big foot,
it made my foot look "sasquatch" big.
I really don't like all the criss-cross stitching on these walkers... All athletic shoes are
way over styled with all those overlaid pieces of material connected like a road map -- wasteful.
I just want a plain walker. I returned these because
they looked wide and blocky. They were comfortable though and I'm sure someone
else might not find the same problems with the styling that I had.

2.0 out of 5 stars Had to send them back, March 9, 2011

The shoes were uncomfortable and clunky; didn't support my arch area and lacked room to slip in my orthotics. Also, they're not worth the price. They're cheap made-in-China shoes with a pricey brand name. A whole bunch of little pieces of materials sewn/glued together doesn't necessarily add up to a well-constructed shoe. As for fit, this is so subjective; note the variety of reviews regarding fit. It would be best to try shoes on somewhere if possible (I live very rurally so this is difficult) and find the best fit that way. THEN, if you can find that brand/style/color/size online cheaper at least you know for sure what you're buying. From now on, I won't buy shoes online if I haven't tried them on somewhere first. Lesson learned.

4.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable & Stylish, December 22, 2011

I have a flat foot and needed a shoe for overpronation. This shoe is great for that. It is very comfortable and also is stylish. I am so pleased with the choice. The price was also excellent.

These shoes are bulky and very uncomfortable. I would return but I all ready through out the box. I was disappointed as I usually love Asics. I would not recommend AT ALL.

5.0 out of 5 stars The BEST!, December 9, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The best walking shoe for someone with no arch! The BEST! I also suffer from Plantar fasciitis which is very painful but with this shoe I can still do my daily walking up 181 stairs and then the 2 miles beyond that. Now that is a shoe!
