I was skeptical at first because of the previous shoe says that these shoes may be too heavy for running. My previous shoes include Adidas bounce (half soled with bounce technology not entire bottom of shoe), New Balance, & Nike Airmax. In my opinion, Nike Airmax are extremely heavy. My experience was with trying to do leg lifts with them and when getting my heels 6 inches above the ground those shoes really really weighed me down in a very bad way.

I'm very diet and exercise oriented but when it comes to cardio I stick to the elliptical, bike, stairmaster, and step master. I'm teaching myself to run following a guide ([...]) and these Asics Gel Frantic are really making my transition easy! My heels do not ache. My feel do not get numb and I don't have to loosen my laces that much either. I own the black and hot pink and I have received many compliments from friends and fellow gym rats. It's true that if you have high arches you would need to change the insoles. The 20% from [...] was also a steal. In all my health magazines the fitness model is wearing Asics most of the time. My brother's team shoes for volleyball were Asics. It's a good name for quality and appropriate for indoor and outdoor activities.

This is my third pair of Gel-Frantic 4 size 8 running shoes and their fit is as good as the last one. I enjoy the stability and comfort of the shoe, and get a lot of mileage out of the pair. The shoe has plenty of ventilation in the top fabric which is great for summer running. As a result, you really can't wear this shoe in a winter outdoor environment. But I do get three seasons of wear out of it, so I can't complain. I have bought both the black and white versions. The black is more practical due to the difficulty of keeping white sneakers looking new.

These shoes are great for running, but a little heavy. They are very comfortable and very good for someone who strikes the ground hard. However, if you have extremely high arches, I recommend switching out the insoles with more supportive ones. I bought new insoles from Sports Authority and now my runs are pain free!

This pair of Shoe is very comfortable. The shoe is also very durable, and the gripping is good too. The fitting is just nice.

I have foot and ankle problems. These shoes work great. They hold up well and the mesh helps so that your feet don't get to hot.

I bought these shoes to run in. They have been comfortable since day one and have provided enough support that my feet never hurt because of them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good shoe to run or walk long disances in.
I went up a half size because I was buying them online. They fit well enough, but I think I could have gone with a 9 1/2 like I wear in my Nike crosstrainers and been fine. I love the little bit of extra width they have in the toe area. In my Nikes it feels like my toes are slightly squished together, but not in these.
